****e but progressive.

[QUOTE

Hes on course to equal last seasons runner up then.

Reckon he wont go on and sign Southampton in the summer and we might progress even more instead of going [HASHTAG]#backwards[/HASHTAG]

We went backwards because we lost the most important component of the team when Suarez left and are in recovery mode.
Utd's new important Dutch component can't even get his club to the top of the table despite having an easier season in a poor league.

We lost far more than you and progressed.

You're just a really badly run club.

You lost far more?

How do you work that out?

If you mean Ferguson, many clubs have lost successful managers and some never recover, some do but it takes time.
Utd are soon going to either have to promote Giggs to full time manager or find a replacement with good credentials when the Dutchman retires after seeing out his Utd contract to his Portuguese paradise to eat great food and drink fine wine as he stated he will do a few weeks ago.

You lost one player.

We lost 15+ including 3 club captains.

Is it our fault you cant cope losing a player? When we sold Ronaldo we didnt collapse.

<laugh>

Stop the whining UIR, players that left because of age should have been replaced by Ferguson before he retired, players that got the boot would still be there if Fergie was.
The injury thing was down to the Dutch feller and that's it really.

You've had it to good for to long to accept that Fergie deliberately shafted the club so he would look good and his successors would have to build from the bottom up all over again.

Thats a different discussion. (in bold)

The players injured were usually injured before van Gaal arrived. Sonagaon, nonsense.

The reality is, Liverpool cocked up big time. They lost a great player but gained enough money to rebuild. You proceeded to buy average players and waste a £100million (not for the first time).

If losing one player, regardless of his quality, causes you to turn to ****e, theres something very wrong at the club.

Like I said, we lost more and have coped significantly better.

Why would you even think of using players that cost nowhere near as much in the first place?

Did you not even read my previous posts?

I offered a combined goal return over the three as the transfer fee's paid roughly add up to the same value as Rom<ok>

Lost? what, like down the back of the couch? The club knew two years before that times are coming to an end and always work to replace those, they don't wait till the player says I'm done. That's why Smalling and co were at the club you idiot.

You make it sound like the manager woke up one morning and the players were gone and no one knew wtf was going on.

Duhh, do you know anythintg about football ffs.

Everton looked like they coped with the loss of Moyes too, but the second season collapse proved that was only temporary.

Man Utd probably won't collapse quite as hard because of their bigger spending though.

Without said European football, Lukaku's gtg ratio would be even worse, much worse!

How so? Do you have an algorithm that helps to calulate the number of goals he could/couldn't score based on him not playing EL football?
Did you add the Fabio Borini constant into your equation?

It's funny right, bemoaning losing players, them spending a few 100m on new ones.

As if players don't come and go, and was it not Fergie's fault that team eroded in the first place leading to losing a bunch of players at once.

Our issue is not losing players, it's the new ones we are signing that are the problem

You knew 2 years in advance that Suarez was leaving yet....

Significantly more than you. As is demostrated daily.

In the same manner Liverpool knew 12 months in advance that Suarez was going to leave.....

But had not managed to find a replacement

Do you really believe the EL is the reason for his poor PL tally? Really? I know you don't cos you don't seem to be that stupid like

I clearly stated our signings were the problem not players leaving. We replaced Suarez with Badon and Lambo wtf do you think the problem is<doh>

Suarez didn't retire, nor did he state he was leaving, that all happened very quickly with the bite at the WC, it just was not possible for him to come back to the PL after that. How do you plan for that you clown<laugh>

Leaving players don't really cause issues, failing to replace them properly is what causes problems. Duhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

No. Why would I?

Well that sounds ******ed. Your most expensive signing in history is clearly going to be far more of a focus for your play than 3 backup strikers.

Borini was signed for 11m as a backup<laugh>

He was Rodgers first signing.

As for Mario, do you think he was also signed to be a backup player....I can imagine the negotiations.......Mario, you will hardly get a game here, do you want to come and be backup<laugh>
