Only because they don't play.

You can't defend 8 in 28. Pretty poor, I'd say Lambo would have matched or bettered that if we played him up front all season, wouldn't be a huge leap to think that.

8 in 28 hardly tells the story tho, I am sure everton have been that **** that Lukaku has had to feed off scraps for lots of games :D

By that measure Lukaku has more goals than Alan Pardew this season too<whistle>

Well three registered professionals will surely have more goals than a manager.

But three players all signed by your current manager have not managed as many goals between them as Lukaku in a struggling relegation threatened side

For all the football the trio played you might as well have used Pardew as a comparison to Lukaku<whistle>

You're not gonna do a tobes and directly compare 90 mins of Lukaku against 5 minutes for Lambo or Borini are you? <laugh>

Not even sure how I ended up in this Lukaku argument again <laugh> <laugh>

8 in 28 is poor, how is that wrong and what has it to do with our trio?

It was the best way to get an equal transfer spend and players who play in the same role.

It's not really an argument. Rom has more goals....case closed<ok>

Well, against the wishes of our usual visitors we had the temerity to win tonight, their absence shows their plasticity more than their confidence in their own club(Evertonians not included)

Next weekend is the FA Cup for us, no doubt you'll be gathering like vultures as per usual, but if like tonight your wishes don't come true at least say hello.

Be honest Page, there was very little to comment on tonight :emoticon-0113-sleep

I'm still waiting for Lukaku to be compared to a decent player.

Benteke's not had a great season but even he's got 10 in 24

To be even more honest Diego Utd's season(until the last 3 games)has been ****e, its ok basking in the glory of winning **** all, but our season last season pissed all over Utd's this season.

And to top it off we've got an actual chance of a trophy.

Yep, i know but rivals are not likely to come on a thread after a boring game and say "you were ok tonight", we either need to laugh at how **** each other have been or admire a great performance.

i reckon the issue has to be the complete and utter faith some have in van gaal after 3 good games whereas at lfc there is a complete lack of faith despite long run of wins

utd have been good at home for a looooong time. not pretty par se but solid as a rock. when you have that i think that puts the faith in there

I don't even think it's that. It's more a case of knowing it's all over bar the fat lady singing so what's the point? I mean, if the result really mattered you'd have ppl coming on to point out the blatant penalty that wasn't given but instead most are just thinking meh.

Yeah, i watched it but it felt like 11th playing 12th on the last day of the season, no effort or excitement.

But not having the pressure of European football has helped him ;-)

I guess then I shouldn't really use Mario, Lambert or Borini in my comparison<ok>

Ferguson 49
Moyes 1
Giggs 0
Van Gaal 0

Hes on course to equal last seasons runner up then.

Reckon he wont go on and sign Southampton in the summer and we might progress even more instead of going [HASHTAG]#backwards[/HASHTAG]

no he'll sign half of holland.. then about 2 weeks in there'll be a massive fight.

Of course we are all wondering if van gaal will :bandit: only sign white dutch mean of course.
