City at their peak were highly reliant on the spine of their side. Kompany, Toure and Aguero. All 3 have been out of sorts by their own high standards this season with Toure looking like he's rapidly on the downslope.

Harsh on Aguero... 19 league goals...

He's not been great since his injury to be fair, 14 league goals before his injury and before today only 3 since.

Kompany's not bee great but I think it's partly because he's 1, not had a consistent partner alongside (at CB or Zabaleta at RB) and 2, not had any real protection in front of him. Means he's constantly wondering if he needs to step out or stay back when players have got in behind City's midfield.

It strikes me that Pellegrini keeps trying to make Toure the complete all round midfielder. Everyone knows the guy can't be bothered to defend anymore (he can defend when asked as he played most his career as a DM) but instead of just accepting that and sticking the guy as an AM supporting Aguero, they ask him to do a job. He then doesn't do it and just leaves even more holes in City's midfield.

Stick 2 DM's (one of the Fernandoiniooos and Milner) behind him and play him off the front man with Silva drifting in from one side and Navas providing width behind. One of the Brazilian's will provide the defensive cover and Milner provide the energy.

Balotelli acts the dick again. Nothing to see here. What is his problem though, why is he such a knob all the time?? What is he, a City fan, wants to still be playing for them?? Pathetic

Cheering a goal against our biggest rival... don't see anything wrong with that.

Weren't we all doing the same when he scored?

Uefa didnt think it was a legitimate deal. They fined and reduced their squad size which despite claims from some, massively hampered them.

City responded by spending more than they were allowed to spend, making a new, even bigger, even more dodgy deal for the ground and surround complex and basically trying to call Uefas bluff.

Lucky for City, the rate they are going, Uefa wont neee to ban them.

That was over not meeting FFP, not the sponsorship deal wasn't it?

You play in that midfield 2 against 4 and you'll look like you've gone down hill. <laugh> Toure was overrun for most of that game, since United's second.

Players move on, lower wages or not, they kinda want to play football y'know. :D

Not from City, Bridge wouldn`t go anywhere (in fact he may still be there) because of the contract he was on and the fact he was ****.
