The FA have apologised for making the right decision for once and have promised to rectify the situation

Hull owner Assem Allam had said he would not continue to invest in the Premier League club if the change was rejected.

The 75-year-old businessman, who took over City in 2010, believes switching to Hull Tigers will help the club's "global" appeal.
No offence to Hull, but "global appeal"- which particular globe does he live on?
Apparently the original ruling placed "too much weight on objections from supporters".
How dare they? Anyone would think it was their club.

They need a reality check

Do hull want a set of oh I dunno Indian chicken farmers buying them out cos thier name has tigers in it?

This guy is 75 he is not long term is he? Hull need to survive in prem on their own, invest the vast tv money and get on with it

It's like us, if we have a full squad the tv money is big enough that we can put it into stadium investment. They can too.

Teams no longer need a suger daddy like this guy imo. Ffp says suger daddies are useless now anyway unless they bring a huge corporation to sponsor the team.... Will tiger beer put 50mil a year into hill on the back of a name change? Hardly.

Teams now should be run as corporations where financial prudence is applied to keep expenditure on wages down, flow of playing assets up (there's always a buyer but you have to have replacements) and invest in facilities

Must say that the whole van gaal comments sound very much like a ah **** it type call

Ah **** it I gave it a go so sack me and pay me off please

The man yoo manager ready to throw his hand in already?

In his latest interview about this being his last job and revealing he has eventually given in to player power about team tactics, he also put Carrick's name forward as possibly the club's next manager and in doing so shows his contempt for the useless Giggs.
He also says he doesn't like getting touched up at airports.

"Everyone wants to touch my body in the airports; it is always peeping because I have an artificial hip. I am the only one who has been controlled every time when we fly. "

Man utd's promising youngster has not lived up to expectations.

Januzaj dropped by Belgium

Belgium coach Marc Wilmots has dropped Manchester United winger Adnan Januzaj for the forthcoming Euro 2016 qualifiers against Cyprus and Israel.

The 20-year old had featured in every squad, including for last year's World Cup, since deciding to play international football for Belgium last April.

"I have no doubts at all about his quality, it's just that there is
little chance to see him, for him to show that quality," Wilmots said

He did look quite promising last season but that was probably due to how **** utd were.

Louis van Gaal tells [HASHTAG]#MUTV[/HASHTAG] that Marcos Rojo and Luke Shaw are not fit enough to start for [HASHTAG]#mufc[/HASHTAG] at Anfield but may be on the bench.

Van Gaal confirms to [HASHTAG]#MUTV[/HASHTAG] that Michael Carrick has signed a 1-year contract extension. More: http://www.manutd.com/en/News-And-F...rrick-signs-contract-extension-at-United.aspx

Van Gaal also tells [HASHTAG]#MUTV[/HASHTAG] that Robin van Persie has started doing some running as his recovery work continues.

LVG on Carrick: "He's important because he can read the game as a player on the pitch, so he can coach during the game, but he can improve."

Van Gaal on Carrick: 'He has also an excellent pass forward. That's very important for me.'

LVG: "Carrick is a MF who can play the ball forwards + I like that. Our aim is always passing the ball forward, not sideways or backwards"

Van Gaal: "Rooney is my first captain, Carrick is my second. That says enough of how much I value these players."

Van Gaal very happy with United's performance vs Spurs. However..."It says nothing if you lose the next match + it's Liverpool."

Van Gaal: "If we can show that same sort of performance against Liverpool, then I think we have moved forward."

Van Gaal: "Every day Mike the cook has been telling the players and me how important the Liverpool game is!"

Louis van Gaal on #mufc's trip to Liverpool: "I want to win against them again. It's very important."

Van Gaal on Giggs' influence ahead of Liverpool:

"I have Ryan Giggs to tell importance of that to the players and me in his presentation.

"I like that because it shows it is a very particular match for the fans, it helps to focus on concen

Van Gaal: "Every win is better than a loss or draw, you start better. We played very well in the first half."

"But it says nothing when you lose the next match.

"Liverpool is not the ground that United has won a lot on."

More from van Gaal: "I think every player knows the importance of this game. We are in a very crucial stage and cannot lose.

"We see these nine games as nine finals," said Martinez.

http://www.thehardtackle.com/2015/f...reduced-him-to-tears-claims-his-former-agent/

Manchester United striker Radamel Falcao’s former agent Silvano Espindola has revealed that the Colombian’s terrible spell at Old Trafford has been so depressing for the striker that it has reduced him to tears.

Falcao, popularly known as El Tigre, has managed to score just four times in all competitions this season after his hefty loan move to Manchester last season. He was supposed to take the Premier League by storm, but hasn’t lived up to his billing and it looks very likely that he will not be signed permanently in the coming summer.

Espindola said, “We talk a lot. I’m not going to say that he feels happy because he’s not. We’ve spoken many times and cried together.

“It’s not an easy situation because every player wants to play and every goal-scorer wants to score goals, that’s normal.

“But, at the moment, he isn’t scoring and that’s part of his football. He’s recovering his best form.

“When we spoke, I told him that this happens to every striker, that he’ll get over this poor run, and has happened to every great striker.

“When you don’t score, you’re going to begin to feel the pressure.”

Falcao was recently included in United’s reserve squad as Louis Van Gaal wanted him get back his confidence and had said, “We pay players to play whether it’s for the first team or second.” However, that move backfired as he failed to impress let alone score in the game.

Falcao’s agent revealed the conversation that he had with his former client, “When he was on his way to the ground to play this game with the reserves, he called me,” said Espindola.

“We spoke for 20 minutes until he reached the stadium and he told me ‘I’ve never been through something like this, I don’t know how to deal with this situation. It feels weird for me’.”

With Wayne Rooney in good goal scoring form, it’s very unlikely that Falcao will be used against Liverpool from the start. Rooney will have to be at his worst for Falcao to get a chance off the bench and that is unlikely considering Rooney is facing Liverpool, a side he hates keeping his Everton roots in mind.

Falcao will need a sudden change in luck to keep him at the club, but that is still very far away as nothing about him is world class at the moment. He looks a yard slower, hasn’t been able to put away his chances and hasn’t created any goals for his teammates either
