Van Gaal: “We have been longer in the top four than Arsenal. I’m sorry, but it’s true.”

I'm sorry, but it means **** all <laugh>

Yeah, wonder if he'll manage to stop himself from mentioning a football disaster tonight.

A football disaster is a football topic. Football topics are the point of this messageboard no ? Is merely mentioning a football disaster in the same league as the constant personal taunts you aim at someone on this forum you know to be autistic ? I don't know.

All depends on wether you want to have a serious discussion or score points off it. Not everything that happens around a football match is football related either <ok>

Can we gain 5 points on man city? Atm I'd fancy us to overtake city rather than Arsenal judging by City's away form. Under pellegrini they are such a weird team because they can do nothing for 90 mins yet you know that they have the ability to string together a move of the highest quality to win a game from out of nowhere.

Is it starting to sink in yet?

Losing a game doesn't mean City are spent, they are off form. If you can't see the diffrence between a stupid inaccurate generalisation "spent" and "off form" then I can't help you.

More importantly, their defence hasn't been at it all season like previous seasons, even Kompany is a shadow of the player of the past two or three years. City had enough chances to beat Burley but didn't take them, bad finishing.. is that being spent?

City will finish second, not bad for a "spent" team. What does that say about everyone else below them. There has been only one team in the league all season with consistent form, and they are clear at the top by 6 points with two games in hand.

By your logic, the PL contains 19 spent teams and Chelsea <laugh>

Results we're all hoping for today...

• Saints to draw with or lose to Chavs

• Spurs to beat or draw with the Scum

• Some other game that nobody gives a **** about

You never in any of your other posts on other boards refer to fans of other clubs as "victims", ok so you reckon it was a misunderstanding, fair enough.

If you're genuine I apologise, if not you'll no doubt let us know.

I was calling Lpool fans victims as I thought all the Fa/BBC are out to get us was ridiculous talk. One of the moderators told me how this term is used to score points over Liverpool about something more serious than football, I told him I was unaware of this and you will find I have not referred to Liverpool fans as victims on this board in any context. I understand my views will to say the least irritate fans of other teams (especially Liverpool) but that is the nature of football ! My bias towards Saints will clash with your bias towards Liverpool. No place for any of that other ****e ( always thought the banter between United and Liverool was very funny until it became a Munich, Hillsborough slanging war ) and if anyone thought me using the term "victims" was some sort of shot I genuinely am very sorry.
