Incredibly, I guess a lot of it is down to inconsistency of young players but It'd be really cool if the premier league was that competitive. If you didn't know roughly who's going to be challenging for top 4 and the title it'd make it a whole lot more exciting for everyone. I know we are never sure which teams are going for the title & top 4 but its usually between the same group with a random team who everyone knows is unlikely to finish top 4 in the end e.g. Southampton.
When you look at the championship and 4 teams are on 66 points at the top and the 5th team is on 65 points it makes it exciting for everyone involved, it'd be nice to have something like that in the premiership without 2 or 3 teams running away with it like usually happens.
