Hull 1-0 up already, still at least if Hull win that stops sunderland from going level on points with you.

You lot will still be safe though either way.

Watching a side that played some boss football last season with pace and energy, morphing into a snails paced tiki taka borefest, with a back line as brittle as our nickname has been difficult to stomach. Particularly when this is the best squad we've had in a generation, it's piss poor and the buck stops with Martinez.

As you say remarkably the EL could save our season, but I'm not banking on it.

I've said before that the signings weren't strong enough to make you actually improve. Barkley getting injuired and showing no form whatsoever hasn't helped at all, you lack a play maker atm. Lukaku needs delivery for his attributes to shine and atm he's getting the ball from deep and expecting to just do something which isn't his game.

Not signing a center back was a disaster too, Stones is very young, Jakielka is good but isn't getting younger and Distin/Alcaraz are terrible now.

Only shining light us Besic, you seem to rate him highly and because you watch them more ill take your word for it. I think he's ok though.
