Henderson isnt his player, surely its up to his own manager to plead for punishment in that case?
What kind of ****** manager would approach the FA and ask for their own player to be banned? <doh>

you put the lottery on yet...?

Clearly he would not have as he sent the guy out to do the player right at the start of the game... targeting players is an old mourinho tactic.

You missed the point - it's a universal problem not a 'mine can do what they like, yours can't' thing. And I'm not happy with the '******' word <ok>

So you think Jose said "Samuel, here is what I want you to do, go and break Hendersons leg!"?
No...........Eto'o was probably told to mark him, or stick to him, and he made a horrible challenge off his own back.

Daft answer that bod, I mean its not like anyone at the FA never saw the incident(and every incident), they are the governing body and its their job not Mourinho's to punish the culprits.

Them actually doing it consistently is another thing though.

Players mistime and commit horrible tackles all the time......
But let me guess this straight....

You are all saying Mourinho gives his players mandates to break other players legs?
Because if you think that, then.........................

If by 'all' you mean mito - he's the only one who said it - then yes - the rest of us have our suspicions <laugh>

lets be clear... alonso's career at LFc was nearly ruined and was probably one reason why rafa sought to sell.... by fat frank lampard going out to injure him on mourinho's orders. it was a very nasty tackle that broke alonso's ankle... and not even punished.

Great debut year.. then he was targetted... and then he missed a lot of time but just got back in time for the CL for us to make history. his impact to QF and SF was undervalued IMO.

Ever hear alonso singing mourinho's praises like some players......

Jose Mounrinho did NOT ask Lampard to injure Alonso, nor would Lampard have done so even if he had.

If you knew anything about either of these guys you would know that.

Nah, but when was the last time you heard him slating one of his own for "horrific" tackles?

Sometimes silence speaks louder than words.

Never I hope.
A manager should never slate his own players in public.
What kind of message would that send. If you **** up I am gonna roast you in public. Wouldnt do much for the team spirit would it?
Weren't you all on here moaning about Gerrard and Rodgers dissing Balotelli in public just a few days ago.

If a manager has an issue with his own player, then he needs to speak to him one to one.

If he's prepared to back them in public he should be prepared to slate them if its deserved.

Bottom line is Mourinho has got to much to say and most of it is petulant.

Dont agree at all.
The manager should always appear to be backing his player in public.
If the player does something silly, then the manager can say so, but not go so far as to villify or condemn him in public, like say what Gerrard did to Balotelli ( I know Gerrard isnt his manager but...his captain).

As for Mourinho having lots to say and coming off as petulant a lot of the time, well......I cannot argue with that. but thats Jose.

lol at the massive double standards being applied here. Maureen defends his player after being on the wrong end of a potential career ender and then getting sent off, and that makes him the devil in a dress <laugh>

Jose Mourinho: "Football is about emotions and clearly Nemanja Matic had a reason to lose his emotions."

Carl Heeley: "Football's an emotional game. Shab is a lovely, mild-mannered lad. There had been extreme provocation and we can certainly understand it."

But since they're just doing their job and not making any legitimate [HASHTAG]#objective[/HASHTAG] arguments we should just ignore them. The bans stand and Matic can have another game for a frivolous appeal <ok>

Ignoring all the petty school yard bickering about who did what to whom and the stupid conspiracy theories.

Bottom line is that Barne's tackle was absolutely horrendous and the authorities should be doing everything in their power to eradicate all tackles like that, from the game.

Instead they do nothing, just to back up one of the worst refereeing performances I've ever seen.
