Fan switches from red to blue (sort your ****ing headline out FFS [HASHTAG]#bbcsalford[/HASHTAG] <doh>)

While West Ham players have formed a band for charity, a lifelong Everton fan has swapped from blue to Liverpool red before this weekend's Merseyside derby to raise money for charity.

The Liverpool Echo reports that 51-year-old Raymond Moore is doing a series of challenges for charity.

He has already run 10k and completed the three peaks challenge, but the most difficult task will probably be on Saturday when he will have to cheer for Liverpool rather than his beloved Toffees.

Usually I don't like to get too personal, but how the hell did this guy do the Three Peaks Challenge?

Don't Milan and inter share a stadium at present...?

Yes but neither are filling it regulaltu so guess are losing money on it and Milan have decided to go build their own smaller one.

guess inter will continue to play there though

So's RHC.

I knew a guy who did it every year, well into his 60's.
Amazing.

I assume that's a piss take?

I am actually going it. I'm in charge of organising it, need a team of nine (nine seats in the minibus) and I've got about seven so far.

I didn't doubt you meant it.
Good on yer- is it for charity?
I've been to the top of Snowdon a few times (it's nearby) but not for a few years. My experiences of the other two are limited to looking at them from the base.

Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has been charged by the Football Association for media comments he made after his side's FA Cup fourth round match against Cambridge United last month.

It is alleged that the comments 'allege and/or imply bias on the part of the match referee and/or bring the game into disrepute.'

Van Gaal has until 18:00 GMT next Monday to respond to the charge.
