So Arsenal play with a proper DM and compromise their posession game - another example of the important of defending as a team and the role of a DM ;)

welll the lad is not the best but he is really disciplined but i think the pressure city put on at home... well arsenal never got a sniff at our place wither but scored 2 again

No, because Astro posts constructive criticism whereas you're always happy of an Arsenal victory.<whistle>

I always bet on them to win and and on their prediction league, if they even drop points its quite a laugh like when we mess up and they laugh at us like yourselves <laugh>

Full credit to Arsenal, just the perfect away performance and solid with it.

About City though, they definitely missed Yaya today. He and Silva would have given each other the space to roam and create space which was missing for them today. Kompany showed today (as he does quite often when City can't control the game) that he is positionally poor and cumbersome with it, and imo a tad overrated as a result. Navas was such a brilliant, tricky wizard on the RW for Sevilla. Just not lived up to that at City and today was so disappointing.

is anyone watch the ego league?

by that i mean the messi and ronaldo league.

Lionel Messi's hat-trick this weekend was his 22nd in La Liga (and 30th overall), the same number as Alfredo Di Stefano and Telmo Zarra. Real's Cristiano Ronaldo has scored 23 La Liga hat-tricks...

Anyone reckon barca will be purely hunting this accolade and gareth bale will be told in no uncertain terms not to be so selfish as to score himself but to get everything to the main man.

Allardyce jizzing over his own genius

"Getting the ball into the box quickly with quality is definitely sometimes the best way forward," Allardyce said.

"That's what we did in the second half and that's why we won the game.

"All this tippy-tappy stuff - everybody keeps on going about the right way to play football."

Allardyce was retained as manager last summer after acknowledging the West Ham board's demands that the team "provides more entertainment".

£2k+ for a derby ticket.<yikes>

EFC should end their deal with StubHub if they don't sell them at reasonable prices.

wow.... is the demand to see gerrard hitting a hat trick in his last merseyside derby really that high?

I think of course the last 10-20mins could be resold as most blues will have vacated the gorund by then and more reds could be packed in to sing him off <ok>

It's merely supply and demand.

If someone is daft enough to pay over £4k for a pair of tickets made available by a pass holder then who's lost out?

lol at Dave Kelly sticking his beak in, the same man who rips into the club for it's lack of commercial revenue, taking a pop at the club for a contract that's earned them £1m

Tcikets always end up with touts anyway, it's just now done more on the net rather than at the ground

is it worse or better than people streaming it.

Its not legal to sell your tickets is it? but how and ever... in fairness the temptation to sell for one game is absolutely huge i'd say.

oh are these tickets "returned" to the club to sell on in an offical manner not touts?

I didn't read it.

Lfc have the same type of scheme of course but i've not seen ever scalping like that.

It's season ticket holders making their seats available for resale for particular games via an approved agent of the club - Stubhub.

The headline includes a pair of tickets on sale for over £4k, but there's no guarantee anyone will actually pay that.
