Given how well our "L" deals have gone, I'm a bit suspicious of the move for Lavezzi. At least he doesn't play for Soton.

(Watch them buy him for 8 mil now; he'll have a great spring, we'll buy him from Soton for 25 mil in the summer, then he'll be rubbish...)

Gonzo's hoping that its a similar case for Bertrand <laugh>

<laugh> To be fair, he may have been right on that one. And Mario. Should we put luv on the committee?

I don't think Bertrand is good enough and I prefer both Enrique and Moreno too.

Gonzo and I have shared very similar views on Mario throughout so if he's on the panel, so am I [HASHTAG]#allaboutgreez[/HASHTAG]

With Schneiderlin and Wanyama both injured, Soton will struggle. I expect them to drop a few points until they return.

People have been looking for opportunities to write them off all season, this is just the latest.

Both excellent players and they'll be missed, but they've just got Cork back from injury and they may strenghten in the window.

Injuries or not, both they and West Ham will start to drop points regardless. Neither have the squad to cope with a top four challenge for an entire season. Everton and Villa have been in similar positions previously too.

Cork is not in the same league as the other two - not yet anyway.

Both are crucial to Soton, and it's no coincidence that over the past 2 years, Soton's performances/results have dipped when either one of them are injured.

These two alone prove just how crucial it is to have a strong midfield.

And I don't agree with Gez - if Soton could have kept these two fit, then I expected Soton to continue racking up points.

I was going to say Spurs too but they had a slightly bigger squad than those two have.

Shock <laugh>

I was going to say we'll see but you've already got your excuses in earlier by blaming current injuries.

spurs only finished 5th to arsenal cos bale had a back injury.

i think people should see Southampton have had tadic benched after injury too... i can see them being strong at home but weak away here and i think they have a good haul now but the question is where will they get to if they don't haul in many.

they should get 70 from where they are but if they get 66 i'd certainly not be shocked.

I thought you was referring to when half the Spurs squad got food poisoning <laugh>
