Point is, when people complain about that kind of stuff...GROW THE **** UP.
Awww diddums did he hurt your pwetty little feelings by smiling at you and punching the air.
They have the nerve to complain after they just spent 60 minutes chanting abuse at him.

Wow you seem really angry at fans who don't like ex players to celebrate lol

I suppose it comes down to the player, if he's going to celebrate against a former team then he obviously had no love for the club so like Bod ays he's giving back what the supporters are giving him.

I would have hated it if Torres had scored against us and if he had celevrated I would have gone nust but I do get why he may have done so.

should read the reject galacticos.... di maria, f'd out of real. falcao ran off to france to chase cash, got injured and team wasn't rid. blind is a nobody, rojo and herrera are just decent players and shaw <laugh> has a fake hamstring injurey realted to his moobs.

Moob injuries can be quite serious. Career ending even!

I don't care if ex-players celebrate... it's not their celebration that hurts- its conceding the goal.

If we were playing Malaga I wouldn't enjoy seeing Cazorla run the full length of the pitch just to slide in front of their fans but that's just me.

The likes of Van Persie and Nasri I'd rather they celebrate a goal against us just like any other, why not?

Aye.
I could kinda get it if Arsenal fans got upset say for example, if Fabregas scored for us against them this season, and did what Adebayor did. Because there was no bad blood between them and that would be uncalled for and disrepectful.
"Those who want respect, give respect!" - Tony Soprano
But in the case of Adebayor, he got vile abuse for wanting to leave and go to a club that would pay him more and give him more of a chance at trophies. And the Arsenal fans treated him like ****, so his celebration was fully deserved.

I am kind of dissapointed that Lampard never did the same thing to the West Ham fans, because they would have deserved it, but he was the bigger man I suppose.

I think we know how it would have ended if that had happened at West Ham <whistle>

hehe, aye. He probably woulda been stabbed.

haha remember when that nutcase Spurs fan ran on the pitch after we just owned Spurs, and tried to punch Lamps in the head! <laugh>

Again, grow the **** up, your team lost lad, deal with it.

I always find it amusing that Adebayor sited in camp fallouts as part of the reason he left (most assuming it was to do with him and RvP) only for RvP to **** them over a couple of seasons later <laugh>

See RVP can understand them being upset about, they stuck by his crocked arse for years, and he finally manages to get fit, put a run of games together, and start scoring as he should and then wants to bail at the first hurdle, with a year left on his contract, so they have to sell him for relative peanuts.
He could have at least signed a contract extension at the start of his last season, so that if anyone wanted to buy him, they would have had to play £40m +
Also he went to United, who were a fierce rival of Arsenals for much of the early 21st Century, its completely different to Adebayor's situation.

No one was massively upset about Adebayor leaving, his attitude was pathetic at that point anyway. I think that was also the game where he stamped on Van Persie's face?

He certainly got plenty of abuse from Arsenal fans though Krome, he claims there were chants about his family and whatnot, not sure if there is any truth in that though.

RVP was a proper Judas though, all those years your fans supported his sick note behaviour and then he pulls that ****. Bailing out on the last year of his contract to United of all clubs. Surprised Wenger let that happy to be honest...actually I am not because once a player decides to leave I get the impression Wenger just doesn't give a **** and lets them go wherever.
The fact that we got Ashley Cole was shocking too.

Rvp would only leave for utd and you lot did some dodgy dealings to make sure cole would end up at Chelsea!

Thats what I meant, the fact that you guys still sanctioned the transfer even AFTER it was exposed that he had been illegally approached, was what shocked me!

I think wenger sees players who have made it abundantly clear they want out are poisonous to the squad. Players who care about more than just there own immediate wishes have stayed on longer at the club after showing a desire to move - Henry, fabregas, Veira etc...

Arsenal also got one of the league's best defenders (at the time) in return.

That they did! <ok>

afc I take your point about letting poisonous players go, its not so much that he let them go, its that he lets them go to direct rivals <doh>
Surely RVP would have had a slew of suitors after the season he had had.
Arsene should have played hardball and dicked him over if needs be and let him go a season later on a free, rather than pretty much handing United the title by giving them your best player and (at the time), the only real world class player you had.

Rvp had said he would see out his contract if needed but was going to utd either way. The club decided to cash in while they could, I think wenger would of been happy to keep him another season but it was just before our finances changed and the money was what the club went for.

He wouldn't of gone elsewhere, he'd rather have stayed at arsenal another year.

Bet he is regretting it now <laugh>
