Everton have cancelled a supporters' day trip package to Russian outfit Kuban Krasnodar because of a lack of interest in October's Europa League tie. (Daily Mail)

There's plenty going but just not on the clubs sponsored trip> The Mirror went big with it as they hate us for some reason

yeah i don't know why....

no I am wondering cos russia is a pig of a place to get to and get visas so you'd think a club organised version would be easier all round but the price of everything must be crazy compared to say supports club orgnaised or private so I think your club needs a good look at that one. Someone is making, well WANTED TO, make too much money.

The whole premise of the 'story' is wrong anyway, as the club haven't cancelled anything, their travel partner - Thomas Cook, have cancelled the planned charter as they've not sold enough seats.

People are going under their own steam for less money and making a 2/3 days trip out of it, the sponsored trip was a day trip!!!

ouch a DAY trip to russia? thats a killer.

Yeah i think that makes far more sense now. thanks. Yes if you go to russia I guess you want to go do something. I'd stop in estonia for the booze cruise with the swedish babes myself...

I heard the trip was cancelled because the fans didn't want to miss the training session at Melwood <whistle>

For once, just for once I would love to see an interview from a club board member or player saying "Don't like that guy, I wanted them to employ someone else but they didn't listen. Oh well, guess we're stuck with him now".

Would be refreshing if people just told the gorram truth for a change

It would be great but they'd get slaughtered by all and sundry! Much like Adebayor did after his celebration against Arsenal; it was bloody great but every ****er moaned <doh>

In Adebayor's case he had no reason to be celebrating like that. he put in a s**t season then left for higher wages. It's a pretty meaningless gesture but most players at least try to show a little bit of class when they play against former clubs

No problem with players doing it, but they have to expect some abuse afterwards

I ****ing hate babies that whine when former players score against them and celebrate.
Its banter ffs.
All the **** the fans give players. All through that match the Arse fans were giving him grief and singing **** about him.
Then he does that and they start crying, ****ing cry baby ****tards.

I think its good when players give it back.

Have you seen some calling them 'The Gaalacticos' FFS <doh>

should read the reject galacticos.... di maria, f'd out of real. falcao ran off to france to chase cash, got injured and team wasn't rid. blind is a nobody, rojo and herrera are just decent players and shaw <laugh> has a fake hamstring injurey realted to his moobs.

don't talk rubbish. You know full well that he got a lot of stick from Arsenal fans and that's why he did it. If it had been another player against another club you would see it differently, same as if it had been a ex-Liverpool player doing it to us I wouldn't have liked it either. Least Torres **** out of scoring last season, instead passing it <laugh>

Exactly. Players should be able to give some back. Of course, there are often 40k fans in a stadium so there will be some that don't deserve it too though.

If Torres had taken the shot then, the game would have finished 1 - 0

I'm all for players giving it back. It's all part of the pantomime that is football. Loved it when Walcott went off injured against spurs and while the spurs fans shouted at him on his stretcher being carried off the pitch he was laughing his arse off holding up his hands to show "2-0" lol

That is still something you were emotionally involve in plus it was pissing off your nearest rivals, you're bound to love it!

Point is, when people complain about that kind of stuff...GROW THE **** UP.
Awww diddums did he hurt your pwetty little feelings by smiling at you and punching the air.
They have the nerve to complain after they just spent 60 minutes chanting abuse at him.
