No as it would then be an inferior and much easier to win competition.
The word sky used was success. To me success means to win or achieve something great. Runners up dont fall imto that catagory. Its certainly a good thing and a step forward but i dont think any books will be released in velebration of finishing second, no parades and nothing.

and also not seeded to make it easier for you to qualify from group stage.1st is everything 2nd is nothing, cant remember which one of our lot came up with that but certainly something i think is the way it should be, not a fan of seeing top 4 like arsenal/spurs or everton do as a success because it fecking aint.

LMAO... I just finished typing a reply to Tobes about how not sure how Balotelly would do but at least we didn't end up with Eto'o, how we dodged a bullet... next post I see is this one that Everton are after Eto'o.
