I think guys have been highly insulting to bogdan as none of you have bothered to take a look.

He came as a younger player to Bolton in the prem and took over from jussi jaaskelainen. He's stayed there due to injuries and they wanted him to stay and we grabbed him as a useful cheap option.

He's not crap, incompetent or unable to fulfil the required role.

Just put this in the transfer thread but since it's the topic on here...

"Leaving Aston Villa football club is the hardest decision I have ever had to make.

"I have had some amazing times and made great friends during my time at the club. I will always be thankful to them for giving me the opportunity to play in the Premier League.

"As has been widely reported, I initially turned down the opportunity to join Manchester City. That decision was purely down to the love I have for Aston Villa and their great supporters.

When I was made captain of Villa it was a huge honour for me and I took the responsibility incredibly seriously. I signed a new contract last season with the view of staying at the club for the duration of the deal and never with the intention of leaving a year later.

"My decision to stay initially was purely based on the emotion and feelings that I hold for the club and the people there rather than looking at the football opportunity that had been placed in front of me."

So what in the last week has changed that made you do a U-turn?

A. Your love for Villa
B Your love for the fans
C The footballing opportunity placed in front of you

Or

D They offered me a shed load more money

E Villa are selling the only decent player at the club to Liverpool

F I'd madea rash decision last week

Water carrier?

Seriously though...... where and when? League cup? As a sub?

He's not going to be a first team player is he? If so they are going to be getting weaker.

He's an improvement on Fernando actually.. so depends how City set up.

However it's quite some step down from the targets they were being linked with like Pogba

They have just paid £44m for Sterling and I imagine he will get game time at the start of the season so no reason to think Delph won't.
