Spurs need a pen and an OG to fluke their way past the worst team in the league and get 7th

Well as to be expected, City, Arsenal, Spurs & Saints all winning their games making tomorrows game even more important not to lose!

A draw would still leave us 2 points behind United in 4th. A defeat would leave us 5 points behind them which might be too much to turn around.

I know everyone is saying it's a must win but I think it's more a must not lose than anything.

Nigel Pearson on Mike Dean, after peno decision: "The arrogance of the man is frightening."

Pearson on Dean: "What's the point in talking to him. He's one of the most arrogant men I've ever met."

Sunderland keeper just got a foul by running out, punching aball and clattering the CF who stood still and jumped up. He was 5 foot away from the keeper when he jumped <doh>

I'd love to be a keeper, it's almost impossible to commit a foul in the box from a cross and you're pretty much allowed to just punch players and get away with it!

****ing awful game this.

What were you expecting.. Sunderland are 17th and fighting relegation and West Ham have dropped from challenging for Europe to 10th and have the form of a relegation fighting team in the last 3 months <laugh>

It was only a few years ago that City were a club bouncing between the Prem and the Championship and winning jack **** and had average players.
But with the array of talent they have nowadays and their new stature in the English game you'd think they'd have full houses every home game, their hardcore supporters have always been there but the empty seats at their games show City are wasting their time expanding the capacity at the Etihad.

They're a "manufactured" team. No real ethos to the club, what they're about or what they're playing for. If you're a new prima donna coming into the club, what does your manager tell you or show you to make you understand what putting on that shirt really means. Pretty much the mediocrity you posted. Jesus, the only thing any foreign player will know of City is what they've seen on telly re the continuous whipping received over the last 5 yrs or so in the CL. So all that leaves is the paycheck.

Games so bad I've turned over to watch the rugby... England beating France in high scoring game so far.

34-22

england need to win by 26 points to win the 6 nations.

41-25 now... Another 10 points needed.

Pox it anyway, just looked at todays reults. <doh> Doesn't change anything we still need 3 points but some extra daylight between us and Spurs would have been nice, mind you that only matters if we fail to stay ahead of United.. if United stay ahead of Spurs that is<laugh>

Arsenal I think are nailed on for 3rd at least. Mind you a lot can change in the 7 days of any given week :D

If e beat United were 3 behind arsenal playing then the first week after the internationals. It's away so will be tricky but could potentially go level with them and behind on GD (unless we win our next 3 games about 6-0)

Starting to enjoy watching rugby more than football. No theatrics, hearing the ref showing players respect who in turn show the red plenty.... Hearing the ref quickly apologise for a mistake when he blew too early... Just really refreshing to see.

How football has fallen so far behind rugby when it comes to things like that is astonishing.
