I just don't see why he denied it - did they really think he'd get off? Given that the ban's not been extended, he's not any worse off football-wise, but it makes him look a twat. (That said, I'm not sure he's crying himself to sleep about that...)

He certainly isnt, here he is at Cheltenham. Fecking hell talk about a prawn munching box, look at them bunch of absolute ****s. Just look, a bunch of failed footballers (failed humans in Evans and Rafaels case) and there they are acting like they're the dogs bollocks

Absolutely, old chap.
The old Cheltenham Festival's never been the same since they let the jolly old riff-raff in, what?
Disgraceful - I hardly ever go these days.

So, Louis van Gaal, what exactly is your Manchester United ‘philosophy’?

The Dutchman used to be bold and had a clear tactical system with all his previous teams – but this season’s muddled thinking at Old Trafford poses the question: is the genius getting old?

I think he is aiming for 4th only and wants shedloads more cash this summer to actually build his team as shaw Herrera and rojo were bought by chief executive

Mourinho having a go at Carragher and Souness over their criticism of a Chelsea bullying the referee.

"Carragher stopped playing two years ago and it seems he's forgotten everything on the pitch. Mr Souness has also forgotten, though he stopped playing a long time ago. He also forgets that I know so much about him, because he left Benfica as coach.

"But I prefer to laugh and to say the envy is the biggest thing that the shadows do to the man."

It think he's forgotten that both of those actually played the game at the highest level and in Souness's case he won more in his career than Morinho.

He's out of order there, he shouldn't have allowed himself to be drawn into that and he's got personal when there was really no need

The English journos hang on to his every word, very rarely criticise him for some of his nasty barbed comments/statements, he's the new Fergie given licence by them to say what he wants.

His success as a manager is not in question but his arrogance is of the scales.

On #mufc's chances of finishing in the top four, van Gaal tells reporters: "I have the same confidence as before."

Van Gaal to [HASHTAG]#MUTV[/HASHTAG]: "The players have reacted fantastically in training. They are willing to do everything and are giving their utmost."

Van Gaal tells [HASHTAG]#MUTV[/HASHTAG]: van Persie is #mufc's only confirmed absentee vs Spurs but he has to decide if Rojo can overcome a minor problem.

MANAGER ADMIRES SPURS
Van Gaal recognises Tottenham as a team that likes to play "good football." He continues: "They have a lot of talent because when you see the selection, you see a lot of youngsters playing and a lot of older players with experience who are not. That’s also nice to see, the process of another club. I have to say they are playing well and I hope we can beat them - it shall be very difficult again."

ALL BIG GAMES
United face two of the teams battling for a top four spot in the next games, but van Gaal insists every one of the 10 matches left is vital: "Every game is very important because they each have an influence on the next game. The game against Arsenal has an influence on the match against Tottenham. We have to keep the fighting spirit and we have to be more effective in finishing our chances."

PRAISE FOR RAFA
On Rafael, the United boss added: "Rafa played a very good match and scored a wonderful goal and because of that he can grip again his confidence."

PLAYERS GIVEN MINUTES FOR U21S
In his press conference, van Gaal was asked about his decision to play Radamel Falcao in the U21s match against Spurs on Tuesday night. He said: "I have read in a lot of papers that it is a humiliation, I don't think so. It's a professional attitude of the management and the club but especially also for the player. Not only has Falcao played but also Valdes and Rafa Da Silva."

BOUNCING BACK
During his MUTV interview, van Gaal praised the reaction of his players to Monday's FA Cup defeat. "They've reacted fantastically in the training sessions. I cannot speak more highly about the professional attitude of my players. They are willing to do everything."

BOSS TO DECIDE ON ROJO
The manager also told the club channel that Marcos Rojo has a minor problem and it's still to be decided whether or not he will be available on Sunday.
