How can you get booked in 7 consecutive games, btw? You'd get a suspension after 5 - or is that stat disregarding the game he missed?

****ing hell, Diego lad. We twatted Spurs last night. Don't let the scoreline fool you.
<laugh>

Take the red tinteds off mate.

It was an even game lad, a good contest that you just edged. To say you twatted them is ridiculous.

p.s. the stats agree with me btw....

After 31 December the limit becomes 10 yellows for a suspension

Barry and Cattermole are currently on 9

Stats don't show number of incorrect decisions and offside goals, which makes the match appear more even than it was <ok>

Yes he would have served a ban (depending on the point of the season) but its seven consecutive Joey Barton games, not seven consecutive QPR matches. No idea if he was actually banned or not though as I don't know when the threshold increases <ok>

****ing hell, this one does my head in more than the "we dominated the game" bullshit.
EVERY ****ING matchday thread I see, and this is mainly United AND Liverpool fans, but sometimes Gooners too.
Every other post.

"How was that not a yellow"
"He should have seen red"
"ref showing manc/dipper/l'arse bias again"
"Ref ruined the game, motherfucker stole my biscuit"

The game is 11 vs 11, if you cant beat the team unless you get a 1 or 2 player advantage, then you don't deserve to win.
Stop relying on the other team to lose a man to get a result.

This would probably happen on the Chelsea board too, if it had any life in it.....but really guys come on...
Just for once can we have a game where people aren't crying like little bitches "Wahh he should have been sent off wahh".

Waiting for the typical response to a genuine concern.......

The stats do, but I ****ing don't. Their second goal should NOT have happened. They got a free kick AND Gerrard booked for a completely good tackle. Even the BS watching at the table next to me in the Grange agreed. I don't wear glasses of any description, by the way <whistle>

Can't say I ever hope for the opposition to lose a player and you're are right to say we should be looking to win without any help. However, its not about getting help from the referee, its about the referee doing his job, he should be protecting the players (of both teams), applying the rules of the game and making consistent decisions.

And there is no doubt Chelsea fans would do it too, you did when your board was active!

But you realise that 80% of the claims of "he should have been booked" "he should have got a red" etc are bullshit?
Subjective nonsense. The ref didnt agree.

Yes sometimes we get blatant incorrect decisions, but that happens maybe half a dozen times a season, when a real WTF how did he not see that, moment happens.
The way guys on here tell it, you would think players are running around with machetes hacking peoples legs off while the ref waves play on

Football discussion, banter and rivalry must be very low key in your neck of the woods bod.<whistle>

Ap norf we tend to tell it like it is.<grr>

Isn't most of football subjective? Isn't that why we love to talk about it so much?

Plus, sometimes its not so unclear. The Diego Costa stamp for example :)

You'll always get the overreactions though, that's the heat and passion of the time. I agree that people get carried away after calming down too though.
