Does his dossier prove that Sam was talking bollocks?
I cant be bothered to read the article.
Neither can I.
Either way, it shows a distinct lack of self-assurance that he feels the need to compile it in the first place. He needs to learn that the best way to deal with the media in this country is to ignore everything they say.

If someone talks **** about you (not saying he did, but if its true), then why is calling them out on it with facts "Losing it"?
Classic defence, you talk bollocks, I call you on it, then you accuse me of being irate....well you just talked utter bollocks, so of course, and everyone else needs to know it too.

Not saying what Sam said was wrong.....but the contents of the dossier are very much the point imo.
I dont class a rebuttal as "losing it".

i dunno... cos you are on 6mil a year, there to do a prematch for the next match and can deal with it a lot more simply by giving fat sam a dig about being a wino needing a fix after the game or something...

I'd expect a bit more professionalism and not making yourself and your club look stupid. The content of said dossier could cure caner and it'd not matter nobody in that presser plaid the blindest buit of notice to the content.... they were all looking at the [HASHTAG]#melt[/HASHTAG] in progress. he might as well have shouted i'd love it, love it if we beat them...

the reality is fat sam would know a long ball but his little side is sliding back a bit now and will be mid tbale small time by the end and the manager of a top 4 club doesn't need to get involved with it. the long ball jibe would be old news NOW let along next week but now the reality is it'll be repeated to death and the 4 pages and grimacing analyst is going to be part of the folklore of utd's season... when did it start to go wrong.... oh fat same said x and van gall printed out graphs...

Except his own stats prove that Man Utd played more long balls forward than West Ham

Van Gaal's entire defence was that because Man Utd had more possession, passing the ball sideways in his own half, that they did it less as a percentage

Basically they had 1.5 times the possesion but only played 1.3 times as many long balls, so somehow they "win"

I think people are missing the point here. LVG shouldn't give a **** if people think its a long, short or a ****ing dance ball <laugh>

The focus on long balls is a distraction from the real issues:
1. Man Utd were played off the park by West Ham
2. They only got a goal because RVP dived for a penalty, was given a free kick instead, and the clearance was sliced to Blind

That's the point we've been making. It doesn't matter whether it's true or not, what matters is that he was sad enough to respond, and the press will rub their hands with glee.

precisely.. that is exactly it. when you are a vastly experienced world class manager on vast sums leading a huge organisation you are supposed to be above a fat old slaphead getting under your skin

thats insulting.... to astro <whistle> I find this very very funny... how for how long have we had certain mancs rising to astros charts and calling it [HASHTAG]#melt[/HASHTAG] and then van gaal loses it and does the same.

very very amusing.

How much longer will you [HASHTAG]#melts[/HASHTAG] think astro is some sort of genius?

He put the record straight. Didnt lose it at all.

You will all know when he loses it. He will set fire to Evans.

Managers are not robots. If someone talks bollocks then its fair game to respond.

While it was petty (because big sam is pointless) hes done no wrong.

When i get home i will post a video of a real meltdown. [HASHTAG]#fachts[/HASHTAG]

Wind it in UIR, he should have said nothing, bided his time and got payback on Allardyce.

But he's spent time making graphs and talking about statistics and whinging, in the end he proved big Sam correct.

Except he hasn't. He proved his point like the condescending prick he is.

He was nearly in tears and his female assistant was obviously not expecting his outburst and was clearly embarrassed.

So you havnt seen it. Nor have I bar a few clips. Will watch when I get home but the more sensible press and journos say van Gaal did a van Gaal and proved he was right.

  • Van Gaal denies FA misconduct charge
    Posted at18:04

The Football Association confirms Manchester United manager Louis Van Gaal has denied a charge of misconduct in relation to media comments and requested a personal hearing on a date to be confirmed.

  • Maureen will flip if he gets away with it.
But Louis the Looney will show the FA panel some nice graphs and and some statistics.

Of course ive seen it, he's been slated for it in the tabloid press and rightly so, he's struggling to understand that talking gibberish and using unsuccessful tactics after assembling the most expensive squad in the prem will be scrutinised and criticised when it called for.
