To be fair, i doubt he would want to. Anyone who knows anything about football would know it is not van Gaals preferred system. It is one he used with Holland in the world cup because he didn`t (in his opinion) have the players to be defensively sound with any other formation. He obviousley feels the same at United at the moment so goes for safety first. There are high stakes as a football manager and at the moment he is getting the points, there will come a time when the performancies need to be addressed.

Why has it taken Brendan 4 months to remember the system he "used last season", has he had a bump on the head <yikes>

Question... Is this enough for an fa charge or will it be ignored. Many times I've seen less used to slap lads on the wrist.

Maybe cos it was total mick last year induced by a lack of cms?

Or perhaps it's cos it took 4 months for Johnson to get crocked and him to luck into it.. Who knows

The bit about the ref is probably worth some kind of fine, the rest is just normal manager moaning/excuses <ok>

Was thinking the same thing, he's already made it acceptable to say "ass" on the BBC and if the FA don't rope him in soon they'll have another Fergie on their hands.<laugh>

Because we had injuries to force changes, you have and the foot long foreheaded one still cant get it right

Lets be honest, VG is here for his pension, much like a few others have come as you've thrown all the cash at them and it is a bad mix when they arent all that bothered mate

Untrue, we had the system but no strikers who could deliver when we played it and no defenders playing well enough, up steps Sterling and in came Can and the appearance of the real Sahko. The three main factors in us being able to play it again effectively.

But why let football knowledge get in the way of a good story

I actually think Man U got away with quite alot, Fellani and Rojo could have had more than just one yellow, the refereeing was fairly decent for once and the pitch looked ok. Van Gaal should just own up and admit his team were **** on the night and Cambridge's tactics out did him.

I haven't read any of the Melted Welly's post match comments. He isn't seriously trying to suggest that they were badly done to, is he?
 
What is he moaning about the ref for? Don't think he made any mistakes in the match?
