I watched bits of it and Suarez wasn't in the game. Great business by Liverpool to get that amount of money for him.

He is never in the game, he just doesn`t fit in with the quality of players around him and the game passes him by. I think he has 2 assists and one goal yet he starts every game, the player he starts ahead of (Pedro) has much better stats from the bench.

Yes, you are right, Madrid tend to sell a really good player in order to make room for that seasons "big star" so the president looks good to the supporters.

I can't remember the last player that was wasted on the bench at Real (although there's probably an obvious one I may be missing?). Barcelona on the other hand have their regular batch. Affelay off the top of my head being one.

You won't see them buying world class talent to be bench warmers tbf. Their subs benches are often their youth players coming through as well. And those that don't make it are sold. The squad is spot on imo.

Been reading some of the comments and it's all like "Moyes has beaten Barca, maybe he's not that bad a coach etc etc".

Sociedad had 1 shot on goal all game and didn't even core from it as it was an OG

And Moyes' problem never was beating the big clubs, at Everton he regularly caused "Upsets" by being hard to beat etc, it's when he went to a team that wasn't the underdog and was expected to win the games he struggled (Like Hodgson at Liverpool).

Think most United supporters would agree Januzaj had one good half season, he has much to do before Marid come calling as has Sterling.

I wouldn't say Moyes isn't that bad a coach, I just said he'd done what Rodgers couldn't lol.

Come on that's not fair how many underdogs has Rodgers beaten this season

Got and early goal and got lucky and the media are all over it

Anything bar a 5-0 drubbing was a great result of course so fairs fair he caught Barca after their winter break on the hop.. Well done moyes...
