I can't say I'm a Welbeck fan and would tend to agree with you.

However, his stats are somewhat misleading, as his scoring ratio is actually very good when you look at games he's started. He'll largely play up top for Arsenal so we'll see how good he really is this season

Maybe but his actual conversion rate of chances to goals is pretty poor from what I remember seeing.

now that was a nice goal by wilshere, i thought to start with he done too much and ****ed the opportunity up, but nice goal.

Great goal from Wilshire but was a definite foul on Aguero before Arsenal won the ball back. CB was just kicking him and because he didn't fall over, the ref didn't give a foul. Poor from Clattenburg.

When do you think Wenger will actually buy a good goalkeeper? It's been a very very long time since Arsenal had a good one

enjoyable game from neutral point of view.

must have been frustrating from both sets of fans though.

Good result for rivals of the teams involved (us included!), and a decent game to watch, too. Wilshere had a great game. He might be trying to prove a point to the naysayers this year.

Jesus, Everton 1-0 after a minute.

Spurs 1-0 afte a minute and then Sunderland equalise a minute later <yikes>
