According to that link a United fan posting in the comments agree that Falcao is on £350k pw

He was on £300,000 at Monaco, no way he will be on less at utd. He turned down city and cl football to go to utd - and he can't use the excuse that he preferred the location, so why did he choose utd ???

He's on loan, he'll therefore continue to be paid by his parent club, as his contract with them remains in place.

United will pay a loan fee and cover his salary costs by way of payment to Monaco.

They therefore escape having his salary count against the EPL FFP wages total for this year, which is probably a large part of the reason for the way the deal is structured.

That sounds far too sensible. You can almost here the angry mob stampeding.

There isn't a single source that says no one makes more than £180k p/w

EVERY source lists more. The median and mode seems to be around £280k p/w. I think £350k p/w is more likely... but that's partially because I'm being difficult.

Why would the press know? Have you asked yourself that?

Its the first question you ask. The second is, who is involved in these transfers? Its certainly not dave the caretaker who posts his view on twitter.

So how donthe press come up with their wage figures?

Well they use football manager for one thing (check it, they actually do). Other times they just make it up. 300k sells more papers than 180k.

At no point do the club announce the wages (not officially anyway ;).) and no player is going to tell the public.

Anyway. Rooney is our highest paid player

£180000 paid ny united
£70000 paid by sponsers

No bonuses included. In total, he can take 300k a week home. If he has the perfect week and we happen to win eberything he can boost his total income to 300k a week.

In terms of what united pay though. Rooney gets the most.

United are paying his wages not Monaco who have to watch FFP themselves. Any number of sources confirming this -

http://www.theguardian.com/football/2014/sep/02/radamel-falcao-joins-manchester-united-loan

''The £5-6m loan fee United have paid Monaco for Falcao takes their outlay to near £140m, with United's willingness to take on his wages reveals how desperate they are to pay what it takes to return to the top four.

He is likely to become United’s best-paid player unless the club have negotiated a huge cut in his earnings. Falcao is understood to have been commanding over £250,000-a-week at Monaco.''

Because he hated in in france. He also knew any move would require him halving his wages.

As for united over city. Shows hes intelligent. Hes been at a money club and seen it go wrong. Ffp isnt going to make it easier for city so why take the risk.

United are effectively exempt from ffp as its of no concern to us.

I think it is - Monaco wanted him gone so they escape FFP fines - ''MONACO were forced to offload Radamel Falcao to Manchester United after Russian owner Dimitry Rybolovlev refused to pay fines relating to Financial Fair Play..... "It was out of the question for [Monaco owner] Dimitry Rybolovlev to pay a single euro in fines concerning Financial Fair Play. That saw Falcao make a deadline day loan move to the Premier League where United will now pick up the player's £10m-a-year-after-tax salary.''

You can quote sauces until the cows come home, jb, but UIR's conjured up, unsubstantiated claims will always be the more accurate.
Ask him.

Our spending is a tiny bit more than our kit sponsorship. Aa in the training ground deal amd weve got 155million im sponsorship before we even consider our secondary sponsers, tv and match day income.

Our club shops also make money. Most others operate at a loss and are usually located in sheds outsidenthe ground.

So no it doesnt effect is and wont for quite some time.

Have to pay get my info. Why would i share it for free. You want it, you pay for it. Like anyone else. I would rather not get banned as while most of the insode info is **** and not interesting at all, every so often something very interesting comes up.

Do i care if you believe me? Do you care and want to know? Clearly.

I'll let you stew. Perhaps another united fan might share.

You misunderstood me, I didn't mean that you'd fall foul of FFP per se, just that Falcao's wages go against utd and have to balance with your books not Monaco's.
