2nd place gets £3.1m more than third I suppose so if we do finish above Liverpool that's Kiwiors salary covered for the year
I do wonder how many players will be sold/shipped off because there's potentially a lot who could leave. Cedric and Elneny will be leaving on free transfers. Ramsdale, Tierney, Tavares, Nketiah, Marquinhos, Lokonga & Nelson all look certainties to be leaving. I'd expect close to £100m for that lot, although it depends on the financial power of the clubs who bid for them because this is what hindered us last Summer. All the spending power was in our league, yet we barely had any PL clubs in for our players. Let's not forget there are question marks over Smith-Rowe, Zinchenko and Jesus' futures, too.
Apparently they want £60m for Ramsdale. (Which is probably his worth in todays market) Tierney £15m Tavares £10m Nketiah £20m Lokonga £20-30m Marquinhos £2.5m Plus Cedric and Elneny off the wages. I think he'll keep Nelson and Smith Rowe.
Anyways Isak scored another brace - One goal off Top scorer now. I fancy him to beat Palmer or Haaland to the Golden boot now. Sign him up Mikel.
Newcastle have been too casual. They should be 1 or 2 up at this point - just bad decision making in the box.
Newcastle had the chances to win, and arguably should have, but a draw away at St. James Park is not a bad result for City. We still have to go there in a few weeks, let's see how we fare...hopefully, we get a better result than last year.
Startting to wonder if City really are in PGMOL's pockets. Foden delays the restart yet Lallana gets the card
