Blimey, my lot will make this page if the decline continues. I genuinely hope it gets sorted ASAP but can't see that happening without a change of owner. The rest will then fall into place. Good luck.
sorry, know I am late, but you really think so? You would rather have Real Madrid and Dortmund in your group over Atletico and Roma?
think spurs group is harder to qualify out of although i would have preferred theres over ours. This is considering that we were FIRST seeds and they were thirds. I think that trip to FC carrier bag is a ball ache as that the longest trip i believe in the CL which will knacker our players out
France squad is unreal at the moment. Mbappe, Lemar, Pogba and Dembele - what a group of young players!
Said the same of Belgium though, they have a had a great squad for a number of years, Lukaku, Hazard, De Bruyne, Kompany, Courtois, yet they never achieved anything. The Netherlands before that too, had a squad of great individuals but were never able to utilise it for any form of success. Englands golden generation too......
The legend.... No matter how good a set of players are, if you can't get them to gel then they won't go anywhere. Either France has the strike force of the God's, or they are being over hyped. Drawing at home against Luxembourg doesn't look so good.
I watched the game and I wouldn't read too much into it - It was almost Arsenal like in the frustration. They were all over them for the whole game. Sometimes the ball just will not go in.
I was thinking.. Its funny how our bias's re: a certain team/manager/whatever cloud our ability to appreciate greatness. Lionel Messi last night. What an absolute GENIUS. He scored 4 goals (his 39th hatrick for Barca) and created more chances than any player on the pitch. He does everything - scores a ludicrous amount, can dribble better than just about anyone and his range of passing is incredible. Messi at Barca: 623 appeareances 530 goals. He also has more assists than any other player in La Liga history. It's getting to the stage where the 'greatest ever' debate is becoming less and less of an argument. Watch him and appreciate the guy whilst he's still around.
The thing about Messi is that he is so ridiculously good at football that people have kinda got used to it and the **** he does has become sort of normal when it's anything but, only after he retires will his true genius be recognised and appreciated by everyone.
I agree with you both Messi is ridiculously good that no one's talking about him as they're just used to it. It's a big shame that he never left La Liga and came to another league, we could have witnessed his talents in the PL.
We need to move now and get him in before the Chinese entice him: http://www.skysports.com/football/n...-munich-sack-carlo-ancelotti-after-psg-defeat
No way mate. Wenger has signed his contract, no way he will leave voluntarily and your board lack the stones to sack him.
