Good news for English clubs, but its hard to justify having 5 English clubs. EPL teams have been poor in the CL for quite some time apart from City reaching the Semis. But it'll be interesting to see how the 3 newbees perform in the CL next season. I predict City, Pool and Chelsea will perform the best from the 5 teams. They have the most experienced managers (Chelsea with the squad) of the lot. Leicester will be an unknown quantity.
Confused the hell put of me...I know Leicester and us fighting for the title is unbelievable but after reading your post I thought it had all been a dream
Where the fck is your matchday thread? I was going to wish you all the best against City and finish above the Spuds. No ulterior motives whatsoever But please, for the love of all that's good and holy, beat them. Just turn up, please
I told everyone Spurs would find a way to **** up. Never saw them as serious title contenders. Their best Season since the 60's and there's a good chance we will still finish above them.
I didn't expect Spurs to lose today, as their record against Southampton (unlike ours) is actually pretty good. Unfortunately, I don't see us taking advantage of the slip-up. That being said, it would be quite hilarious if we do end up finishing above them, given how terrible we've been this season!
They have had the rub of the green in recent games with us just handing them the points with laughable errors. Long overdue come uppance this one!
Genuinely fcked off. City look like the only team likely to score. Piss poor from Arsenal tbh. Where's the fcking pride. Seriously, if Wenger cant get your players up for this game he really has lost it. Now I know how A87 felt
West Ham beat Man Utd 3-2 in their final game at the Boleyn Ground. What a game. Some horrific defending on show, but West Ham deserved the victory, on the whole. Even if Swansea beat City on the last day of the season, the highest United can finish on is 66 points. Let's say we don't beat Villa (which is highly unlikely I know), we still have 68 points. And if City win, but we lose, we still end up 4th, as United can't mathematically overtake us. So, unless my calculations are wrong, we've secured Champions League football...haven't we?
