Again, long before you'd gone into meltdown after the Stoke game I'd said I expected us to drop points in January and that if we didn't have a big enough gap at the top we may fall from 1st. You can live in your fantasy world where your the only one who sees things as they are and everyone else just lives in blind optimism, but the reality is rather different.
Nope, I don't think anyone did. I did expect us to drop points in at least a couple of the Liverpool, stoke, Chelsea games.
And the Leicester band wagon rolls on,fantastic story. Its amazing they play the game in its most basic form ( everyone behind the ball counter attacking set piece football ) and the so called big boy's can't deal with it.Everyone know's how they play and they still march on.They must be really looking forward to playing us because of the amount of space we leave with our full back's bombing forward and our lack of a midfield, our CB,s are going to be totally exposed. But then again our genius of a manager probably has a plan up his sleeve to deal with all of the above EH.
After we smashed them 5-2 earlier in the season I'd imagine this is one of the games they will be most apprehensive about, especially as they haven't had results like that against any other teams. They give every game a serious go so I doubt they will be cagey but I wouldn't imagine it's a game that gives them extra confidence of a win but rather slightly less. I can see it being really open and there being goals from both teams.
lol during half time of the Spurs game there was a piece all about Bergkamp at Arsenal Great stuff from NBC (I think it's NBC)
If Leicester come at us, then we could tear them apart. It will be interesting to see how they set up for this one.
We will beat Leicester next week, it's the other games, I am worried about. Spurs in particular is going to be horrible, with their style of play.
Nah, the high pressing of Spurs is going to be tough for us to overcome, if you look at the last few PL games between us, you can clearly see that Spurs have had good success with this tactic.
Been a weird month...we were in danger of being caught by united and west ham and were 7 points behind you lot. 3 games later we had a 5 point lead over united and hammers and over took you lot on gd. God knows what the next 3 matches will bring.
My predictions for the remaining games of the season: Bournemouth - lose (though I've gone for a win in the prediction league cos I'm hoping I get proven wrong) Leicester - win United - draw Swansea - win Tottenham - lose. No chance of us beating them, Pochettino has our number. West Brom - win Everton - lose Watford - win West Ham - draw Palace - win Sunderland - if they're still fighting for their lives, lose Norwich - win City - draw Villa - win Would mean we finish on 69 points. Will most likely be enough for the Champions League (as always with us), but not enough for the title. If we're lucky, this could be enough for 3rd.
Think you are way off in those Bournemouth. .. win Leicester. ..draw Swansea ... win United...win Spurs ... draw wba...win Everton...win Watford ... draw West ham...lose Palace ...win Sunderland. ..win Norwich ... win City ... loss Villa... win Think that'll take you to 75 points...Might be enough to take the title
What's your point? Our game has nothing to do with the current game that is being played being a rubbish affair.
