I agree on that. It does explain some of our random drops of performance at times, even when we're suppose to be on good form. It wouldn't suprise me if we got a good result against Barca and then draw against lower league opposition at home.
Soak up cities pressure and hit them on the counter and they look so vulnerable in defence. Though they look pretty bad at the back in general tbh.
Leciester about to go 8 points above us.....So what's the excuse now, the excuse has always been oh City and Chelski had far more resources than us so bla bla bla, if Leicester do win the league, it will be such a damning indictment of Wenger and the last 10 plus years at Arsenal.
Leicester blowing every excuse Arsenal have used over the last decade out the window and into space. Every single myth, fable, and excuse used over the last decade being debunked week by week by Leicester, , it's like the genius scientist who showed up debunking the fables and myths of stone aged cave men.
3-0 up, game put to bed, but very fortunate with the third goal, it wasn't a corner and it should have been a foul by Huth. Also fortunate City didn't get a penalty in the first half. Leicester deserve to be winning but the score line is slightly flattering. They are so quick to the second ball and work so hard for each other, they play like a real team.
If we fail to beat Leciester next week, the excuse: Oh but Leciester beat Liverpool and City at the Etihad, so that excuses our usual failure, lol, because you know, screw having any ambition to be the best ya know? .
Remember we have a game in hand and the weekend could well finish with us exactly the same points behind Leicester as we were before the weekend. You seem to be getting rather worked up at Leicester beating City!
City got their fair share of decisions and luck vs Everton in the cup, so it evens itself out, they don't deserve nothing from the ref, or from this game. Leicester completely deserve their 3-0 lead, they have dominated, had all the clear chances, City luck they aren't 4-0 down.
What I'm worked up about is how Leciester, with such considerably less resources, are doing what we have failed to do in 10 plus years, as I said, they're blowing every excuse Arsenal have used over the past decade with how they have been playing. Yeah we could end up back 5 points behind Leciester by end of weekend, yay, I guess, because u know, being 5 points Leciester, I repeat Leciester, is something to be positive about, not.
Things don't even themselves out, I hate that sentiment, of course things don't end up fair based on some decisions going your way and others not! Though of course in some games you get the luck and others you don't. I don't think City deserve any kind of result from this game, but given the third goal shouldn't have stood I do think the score line slightly flatters Leicester, note "slightly" as I think Leicester deserve to be winning.
Anyways, out of next 3 games, doubt we will beat Leciester, or United, maybe might beat Bournemouth, so either way, we're still behind Leicester.
Actually Leicester are doing something we have done several times over the last ten years, leading the table, until they've won the league that means nothing (or so we are told everytime we top the table). I'm not saying it's great being five points behind Leicester, I'm saying we could be in the exact same position we were before the weekend so there is no fresh reason for you to go into meltdown just yet.
Luckily we aren't handed points based on your predictions and those games are still to be played and could lead to any number of combinations of results and points.
Wow just wow, outplaying and beating them 3-0 at their ground is amazing. It's not a lucky win but a proper win. The fairytale continues. ...
Indicators usually can give you a pretty fair assessment of how things will probably go, and based on how we have been playing, we are very likely to go down the route I mentioned. Like I said against Stoke at the time, the indicators show we are poor, and will not remain top of the league for too long, and lo and behold, turns out my assessment was correct, 4th, and 8 points behind City. . Now there are other methods some Arsenal fans like to use, blind faith, belief bla bla, nothing actually based on substance.
I'd said back in November that I expected us to drop points in January, not sure why you think your some kind of messiah, you just had to look at the fixture list...
Saying you expect us to drop points erm wow, what a bold prediction, lol, did you expect us to go 4 games without a win and drop as many points as we did? I didnt just say we will drop points, I said after Stoke we are playing poor, and we shall not remain top if we continue this trend, people like you on the other simply resorted by saying we're top of the league, as usual, nothing of substance, just a silly response, and I said, we won't be there for long based on this, which you didnt want to listen to, but whether you listen or not, it's a fact now, we're 4th and 8 points behind City.
