Does it matter it's a tackle or not? The issue is whether it's deemed as serious foul play. The way you say Arbeloa "threw himself into Nani's foot" is almost as if you're trying to blame him for the incident. He's jumped to challenge for the ball in the air, obviously he's going to move towards it.
I'm not blaming him for the red card. He went in to win the ball. Which is as much as you'd expect a professional footballer. Nani watched the ball the whole time and had no knowledge of Arbeola's whereabouts. Arbeola's tracked the ball and put in a challenge for the ball that Nani was already in the process of controlling. I can understand why it was a red card, but I personally feel under the circumstances it warranted nothing more than a yellow.
If you understand why it was a red card why would the circumstances warrant it being nothing more than a yellow. As i keep on saying it all comes down to the referee's interpretation of the rules
On an even more positive note, Celtic are losing Matri with the goal. EDIT: Also, why is my bar very red? It was green
i personally like this poll they have running . http://www.not606.com/showthread.ph...-s-Adventures-in-the-Champions-League!/page94
No, it appears i upset some Lewis Hamilton fans on the F1 board. I'm banned from the Newcastle board, so i can't upset them any more.
I been watching the PSG/Valencia game, and it's been ****ing dire. PSG have **** all upfront without Ibra.
Eboue got sent off for this against United & Fergie said it was "100% a red card" please log in to view this image
