Lloris isn't better. He's prone to am mistake every now and then. Would take De Gea over him.

I wonder when Levvy will wield his dagger upon the ususpecting Pochettino? We all know he is a serial sacker and has the temperament of spoilt child so he may be looking elsewhere already.

On a side note, Tottenham hotspur are a pile of steaming **** who don't deserve a place amongst Europe's elite.

And that's Munich done, 2-1 at home, a repeat of Madrid at home last year in the semis as well. Guardiola seems a bit Wengerish now in these big games against big teams, weak defence and too much space.

Messi 53, Neymar 37, and Suarez 24 goals, that IS a world class attack. If only we could have had Suarez, with Sanchez, we would destroy all.

This is why world football isn't fair They've literally bought the best strikers in world and surprise surprise, they've scored a ton of goals. Only Ronaldo and Ibra are in the same bracket as strikers.

Well Messi is the leader, and he is homegrown, so not that unfair. And we had a chance at Suarez but killed any chance of getting him with that ridiculous insulting 40 million and 1 pound offer, that's not how you do business. Barca came with the money up front and got the deal done, if we did the same we probably had a good chance of getting him.

To be the best, you gotta go for the best, Barca have done that excellently, they buy world class mixing it with their homegrown and integrated players, and get the results and success.

I don't have a problem with their homegrown players, but I do have a problem with how they and Real get their money. They have overwhelming support, large stadiums and sponsors, so they shouldn't feel the need to do these things.

Real Madrid and Barcelona will continue to receive majority of TV money after Spanish government back out of new plan
Real Madrid and Barcelona will not have to share revenue from La Liga television rights after the Spanish government backed out of a plan to bring in a law that would force them to do so.
Spain’s big two between them take £204million of the total £550m pot every season and the other clubs, who wanted legislation to force them to reduce their share, are now considering going on strike if the government don't lift their block on the new law being passed.

Real Madrid and Barcelona face European Commission investigation over tax privileges and local government aid
The European Commission announced on Wednesday it was investigating seven Spanish clubs, including Real Madrid and Barcelona, over public funding issues.
Madrid, Barcelona, Athletic Bilbao and Osasuna are all being investigated for possible tax privileges, while Madrid are also the subject of another inquiry regarding the transfer of land with the City of Madrid.

Real Madrid, Barcelona, Athletic Bilbao and Osasuna
"Since 1990: Possible privileges regarding corporate taxation of Real Madrid CF, Barcelona CF, Athletic Club Bilbao, and Club Atletico Osasuna - These four clubs are exempted from the general obligation for professional football clubs to convert into sport limited companies. The effect of this exemption is that these clubs enjoy a preferential corporate tax rate of 25 per cent instead of 30 per cent applicable to sport limited companies."

    Real Madrid
"2011: Real Madrid appears to have benefited from a very advantageous real property swap with the City of Madrid. This swap was based on a re-evaluation of a plot of land at a value of €22.7 million, instead of its earlier supposed value in 1998 of €595,000."

Real and Barca getting a huge chunk of the money from TV makes sense because the only reason that league gets so much money is because of them! People are tuning in to watch Ronaldo, Messi, Neymar, the classico etc, that's the drawing power so obviously they want a bigger piece of the pie as most of the money being brought in is thanks to them. People aren't going to spend big money or be tuned into the Spanish League because of Getafe and David Moyes over at Real Sociedad.

When you say Spanish League, you automatically think Madrid and Barca, they carry that league on their shoulders.

Isn't that a rather circular argument? They used those deals to buy those players, plus their usual crap from the government.

Not sure if true, but commentator said that Ronaldo's scored 10 goals in European semi-finals. That's some record if true.
