Yeah considering the talent at his disposal, and the money spent to acquire it, the tactical plan is shockingly simple! Like with Holland in the world cup, the plan just seemed to be 'give it to Robben, and let him create'. So sophistication, or much adaptation either...
£7trillion of transfers and a change of manager to go from 22 points off the top to 18 points off the top. #LVGisthemanforthejob* *In the same way that a dodgy pikey is the right man for the job of retarmaccing your front drive...
Anyways beat Hull on Monday and don't lose at OT and we'll finish at least 3rd. City will be a bit harder to shake off as Swansea and United will be tricky fixtures but we should have enough to pip them to 2nd.
What a classy player Vidal is. Crazy to think with everyone fit Juve's midfield is Pirlo, Pogba and Vidal.
He doesn't have the pace, but if you see his work rate, he does cover a lot of ground when he plays, I don't think Vidal has that much more pace on him, that's why I even find them similar, both aren't the quickest players out there.
How bad was Bale last night? The guy looks scared ****less playing for Madrid, always playing the safe pass, never trying anything, probably cause he does not want to upset Ronaldo.
He was playing really well for them until his confidence got shredded by the Madristas. Now he's too timid and unwilling to assert himself. If he wasn't so expensive I'd consider him a good option to buy.
The fear for me is that one of Man United, City or Chelsea buy him and he destroys the PL like he did before he left, that makes winning the PL a lot harder for us. Hopefully the Welsh chimp stays at Madrid for at least one more season.
Think there is only United who could afford him in the PL but, we need more than one player in other areas so i hope we don`t get him.
I can't see Madrid selling him after making such a massive investment in him fairly recently ago. Chelsea won't be able to afford him AND stay in line with FFP regs, as they are running out of loaned players to sell, and Man C have already been caught by FFP, so while they'd be able to afford his wages (assuming they get rid of some more inflated salaries and/or Toure) I doubt they'd be able to spend £80m anytime soon. Man U is the only option (as I can't see Bayern going for him) or PSG, but as Diego says, Man U need to reinforce other areas of the team 1st...
