I'm sure this ass clown will call Rooney a world class striker, even though Giroud has outscored Rooney in the last 2 seasons, and currently also has more goals than Rooney this season even though he missed like 3 months. But hey, this assclown is all about standards. But let's see some consistency and honesty, Diego will you say Rooney is nothing but a good striker, considering you say Giroud is only a 'good' striker even though he is outscoring Rooney in 3 seasons of English football now.

This is true, it`s sad to say our elite striker is a whole two goals behind him after playing in midfield all season
My point being he has made less appearances than all of those other names above him in the list and less apps than lots of those below too.

Better than Giroud even though Giroud is currently blowing him out of the water with goal ratios, and scored more than him in the previous 2 seasons, yeah, lol much better.
Diego Costa has 19 goals, 5 assists in 35 apps, Giroud has 18 goals, 4 assists in 28 apps. (All competitions). Giroud has also scored more goals against top opposition this season than Costa. Costa is the one leading the league goal scoring charts and is hailed as one of the best strikers in the world yet he's had a similar season to Giroud, with Giroud achieving the stats in less appearances and more goals against the best teams. But it still feels he doesn't get the praise he deserves. The other three above him in the league scoring table (Charlie Austin. Harry kane and Sergio aguero) have played approximately ten games more each yet only have the same or a couple of goals more. Utd's strikers haven't got **** on Giroud this season with none of them even close. Rooney has 12 league goals in 28 appearances to Girouds 14 in 20. And again Giroud has scored more goals in the big games.
As much as Giroud deserves praise, what has Rooney got to do with anything? Diego didn't bring him up and never said he was top class... Arsenal87 brought him up first of all. Saying Giroud is elite simply because he has better stats than Rooney is not the argument to use. Rooney (or any other United striker) has nothing to do with it.
Giroud has been amongst the best few strikers at English clubs this season and he has reached a very high level. I don't like this whole "elite" thing but he'd be starting in any team in the league right now.
It's because he's full of ****, will put down Giroud, who does better than Rooney, but says Rooney is very good and better. That's the point, he doesn't come talking any proper footballing points but comes with his pompous wumming clown act. All he ever does is make snide comments towards us.
I have never put down Giroud, the only Arsenal player i have ever slated is Wilsher and i stand by that. I only pass comment when i see overblown statements like a 20 goal/season striker is "elite" or a young rightback having a very good season is "world class". Just be happy your players are on form and doing a good job, most people would accept this.
