Decent half for Wilshere aside from the possible dive, Chamberlain not so much

I choose The Great British Bake Off and it was by the sounds of it the better viewing choice.

When I say choose I mean the wife did :)

There's certainly more drama in watching a sunken baked Alaska that there is watching England.

Mario Balotelli reportedly kicked a Wolves player in the head and got subbed off in a closed friendly today.

BTW, I love how the BBC is recently publishing these snippets as a sort of testimonial of how tough Brendan will be in dealing with Balotelli. Something like "he said to me I don't defend corners, and I said "now you do!"". <doh>

You want a pat on the back for that or what?

I heard about the recent 'scandal' ... was it a baked Alaska ? I don't have a TV at home so I can't watch it.

Rumors that Sturridge could be out for 3-4 months. Sad for England but who cares about that lot? That's Liverpool's attack badly damaged.

    It's called supporting your team.

Even when they're bad, you still do it.

That's fair enough but my team is the arsenal. Couldn't give a **** about supporting other clubs players in meaningless friendlies. I have paid to support my team for over 24 years.

I support the arsenal, I watch England in tournaments.

I thank God I lived in the era when this man was at his peak. We haven't and we won't have a striker as good as he was for a very long time.
Still remember his loan cameo. Other fans were taking the piss, he comes in and scores the winner on his return. Then gets the last gasp winner against Sunderland. What a legend.

My team is the Arsenal too - and I would have to add that the same sentiment afforded to supporting England even 'when they're bad' isn't often reciprocated for Arsenal by some of our fans.
