Part of me wants United to get Europey cup football next year, just so they have to suffer through loads more pointless games. Whats the odds that Spurs and Utd start trying to lose on purpose, to try and get 7th and avoid the Europa?
That game against City is going to be massive. I think City are at least good enough to get a draw and if they do it could be the result that gives us the edge. That said it's so close at the moment. Here are the last three fixtures between each club. Arsenal v Toon Arsenal v WBA Norwich v Arsenal Southampton v Everton Everton v City Hull v Everton I reckon we'll beat Toon and WBA at home, but I think Norwich away could be tricky with them fighting for their PL survival. I think Southampton might get a draw and City could get a draw, with Everton winning away at Hull. If results pan out like that then top four is ours.
We can blitz all 3. Everton will have trouble against Soton and City. Arsenal: 79 Points Newcastle (H)-Win WBA (H)-Win Norwich (A)-Win Everton: 74 Points Southampton (A)-Draw City (H)-Draw Hull (A)-Win
Man City fixtures: West Brom H Palace A Everton A Villa H I think they'll beat WBA and Villa, not so sure about Palace and Everton away though, I'd have those down as draws which would give City eight points, finishing on 79 Points too. The run in for this season is going to be tighter than a gnat's chuff.
Yep Norwich are one loss away from the foot of the table and depending on results they could be fighting for their PL existence against us, so they will be up for it. We just need to make sure that we dope up Delia before the game so she can't come on the pitch at HT all pissed up and giving it the 'Letz be Avin' ya' battle cry
