I remember when we first played each other how the Spuds were gloating that Chadli would rip us apart. Its ****ing hilarious.
Both are quality players but they have been grossly mismanaged. Soldado is not a PL player and Lamela has looked out of place every time he has pulled on a Sp*rs shirt. Even on the darkest of days, we can all laugh at Sp*rs eh!
I'm going to get ripped to shreds for this, but i would take both of them here. Soldado doesn't work in Spurs system, and Lamela has effectively been frozen out, each time he played in the EL, he looked good. Soldado would actually work in our system, we need a guy who can finish, a confident Soldado is that guy. Funny, we have the sort of striker Spurs need in Giroud, and they have the sort of striker we need in Soldado.
And Torres and Alonso were not stars? You just basically said yeah we sold our stars, but because of bla bla bla. As for stars, the only stars we sold were Nasri, Fabregas, and RVP, 3 players, just like you, Torres, Alonso, and Masch, 3 each. We wanted to get rid of the others, such as Toure (we got 15 million for him), useless Adebayor (got 25 million for him), and Song.
You sold Owen and the list goes on, as for selling Anelka, Overmars, Henry etc, it didn't have any effects on us, you do know we went unbeaten, and won doubles after Petit, Anelka, and Overmars left us.
****ing football. Last Sunday felt amazing and now this. The up's and down's of supporting Arsenal. I could almost come to terms with it, if we were just plain **** and lost most weeks. But the way we do it, is ****ed up. From a NLD win to a 6-0 hammering in the space of six days. Only Arsenal.
If we lost 2-1 or something like that, it'd be bad, but losing 6-0 is just slit your wrists type of depressing, losing 6-0 and coupled with the other ass kickings against the big teams, shows how far we are away from those teams in terms of head to head, defeats like today make you sit back and question yourself and how good you actually are.
Sounds like King Edward scored a wonder goal. The pundits will all be calling him world class again and saying he has to start for England
