There isn't much expectation from us, everyone knows we still need improvements, so no embarrassment. You ****s on the other hand, are top of the league, so when you get your asses handed to you, that will be a true embarrassment.

Try winning it and claim some glory for the league, being a nearly team means **** all an is an embarrassment by itself. Not really sure why you would to claim any other to be an embarrassment.

Stop talking out of your ass now, you're another dumb manc **** who talks ****, and gets found out. You said Arsenal embaress themselves in Europe, erm, no, we actually don't, I highlighted a few recent examples showing how that's not the case. Now in typical manc **** fashion, since you know your initial point was bull ****, you come up with some other nonsense. Not winning the trophy hardly counts as embarrassing yourself.

Embarrassing yourself is getting your ass knocked out in the group stages and going into the Europa League. Beating Barca in what many called one of the greatest football matches hardly counts as embarrassing you silly ****.

So you believe your performances in Europe have been acceptable and of course Arsenals failure to win it.

Our first leg game to Milan was certainly not acceptable. That's why we got knocked out.

In the previous season, I can't have much complaints, we were 1-1 against Barca, then lost one of our best players to a very bad referee call, and that was that.

I want to win it. But here's the thing, a silly thick head like you conflates 2 issues. Yes, it's not acceptable that we haven't won it, and we should do better, BUT, that does not equal we have EMBARRASSED OURSELVES, now do you understand? There's a difference between the 2.

I seriously doubt any honest neutral fan if asked will say yeah Arsenal are an embarrassment to the UCL and always embarrass themselves in the competition. Most neutral fans will say Arsenal aren't good enough, but as I said, don't conflate this with meaning embarrassment. Heck, most neutral fans actually have a great deal of respect for Arsenal.

Ill tell you what's embarrassing, big mouthed United fans trying to put Arsenal down while their team is greatly benefiting from an ARSENAL PRODUCT. You mother ****ers are BENEFITING from the Arsenal philosophy, we made and moulded RVP into what he is now, only for you ****s to come leech of the hard work and patience we did with him. Now you sing his name like the silly United ****s you are, just thinking oh he landed from the moon and he's so good, RVP wasn't world class, the Arsenal way and system made him world class, so everytime you pitiful United ****s want to put Arsenal down, just take a look at your star striker and have some respect to keep your mouths shut.

But then again, we are dealing with United fans, a bunch of ****ing arrogant idiots.

We had a bad season, **** happens but it doesn't matter when you go out if you don't win it imo. We always learn from former mistakes, smashed the group stage this year and got rewarded with a very difficult tie.

People always believe Manchester United have a chance of winning though its a self belief that the players have drilled into them, where as do you think any neutral thinks Arsenal have a chance of winning anything of note?

Mostly i found it amusing that an Arsenal fan could call our European form embarrassing.

I'm pretty sure they would rather have kept RVP than have the £25m so in my opinion they have nothing to be grateful for <ok>

There were certain positives, i.e. are a more balanced side and no longer reliant on one specific player. <ok> However no amount of money will ever make up for the pain of losing him to a rival and the thought that we could be fighting for the title this season had we kept hold of him.

Exactly. Everybody expects to Arsenal to lose (even most Arsenal fans if they're being honest) so if they are competitive and give it 100% then that's all the fans ask. Arsenal are in a win-win situation.

Meanwhile the United media ****fest has continued and the media are now even trying to force their delusion onto football fans by insinuating that its an equal matchup when in fact Real Madrid are comfortably the superior side and will win at a canter.

Everton now on equal games and below us, which is nice to see.

Now a slip up for spurs please, which would leave us ready to overtake :)

Most teams rely on that one specific player to get them goals though - us with Suarez, you with RVP when he was with you and to some extent now with United, Seansea with Michu, Spurs with Defoe for this season.

But you're right, you don't have someone of Van Persie quality now but Walcott, Giroud and Podolski certainly seem to be scoring enough for you, you just need to sort out your defence IMO then you'll be in a much better position, league wise.

Oh and spurs fans saying we are an embaressment in europe is hilarious.

Without our consistent results in the CL spurs wouldn't have even been in it yet.... It's down to the consistency of Arsenal over the last 15 years that we have continued to have 4 qualifying places for the EPL. Always in the competition and always through to the knock-out stages. In the last 6 years we have been knocked out by Barca 3 times, who in that period have been the best club side in europe.* We haven't been embaressed at all in the CL that i can remember - all the other top english teams have been in the europa league in recent years. I appreciate we haven't won it yet, but we are always in the mix and have come close, which i'd prefer to not even being in the competition ;)

*infact even more interesting is: every year (bar the time we lost to liverpool) that we have been knocked out by a team who wasn't Barca, that team has gone on to play Barca in the following fixture, so we literally would always have had to beat barca to win the cup since playing them in the final in 06

I certainly agree about the defensive side of things. When we were winning 5-2, 5-1, they were nice victories but a clean sheet is something special. It's not surprise either in our last two fixtures, two clean sheets, maximum points.

If you analysed Arsenal so far this season purely from a statistical point of view you'd expect us to be higher up the table. Only Chelsea and City have conceded less and only Chelsea and United have scored more and we're joint second in number of clean sheets kept. The fact we're 5th shows just how inconsistent we've been and we've done quite poorly against the teams around us. If I'm being honest I don't expect us to qualify for the CL this season although obviously I'd love to be wrong.
