It's got to be worth watching the Chavs v West Ham game on MOTD even if it's just for the post match shenanigans between Maureen & Fat Sam
Hard to really see them losing again this season. I'll be happy with 2nd place ahead of Chelsea and a bit of spending in the summer
hopefully Mo can go all out negative next week, and get a draw, and MAYBE United those fools can play for some passion-pride and get something against City, and with us, it's a given that we're going to need to take all 3 points VS City, failure to do so, well then...
City are the Hussein Bolt of the Premier League! Apparently their fans struggle to celebrate after the 3rd goal.... They have been really spoilt this season, scoring goals for fun, No Aguero, no problem.... Imagine if we have just one of their forward players? How long did guys on here go on about Jovetic? I don't him, but I seem to recall gooners drooling about him a few seasons ago! Oh well we have Bendy and Giroud!
Meanwhile Sp*rs suffered yet another humiliation in their own back yard. If City are the Usain Bolt of the Premier League what does that make Sp*rs? This poor bloke? http://www.foddy.net/Athletics.html
As good as City have been, we're only 1 point behind them, and that does take some credit, but yet nobody gives us any respect yet, not to mention, this is like what, only the 3-4th time this season we find ourselves behind City? And people keep going on about City improving in the summer, ladies and gents, this City here is their new and improved version, who the **** can look at City's summer spree and say that this season isn't the one in which they strengthened, and instead it's 'next' season where they will make more improvements. City are at their peak right now. If anyone's going to be improving and building on in the summer, it's going to be Arsenal.
Lets not kid ourselves, city WILL go out and strengthen. They need a top CB to be Vince's long term partner as Pellegrini does't seem to fancy Nastasic and Demichelis is a short term fix. A LB wouldn't go amiss either. They are aiming for Bayern, Barca and Real, never mind their PL competitors! As for this seaason, I think Pellegrini had to adapt to being tested away from home (doesn't happen to big teams in Spain). Once he did that they've been like a runaway train. 115 goals (50 more than anyone else) says a lot.
They will sign 1 CB, but who are they going to sign in attack? They've made 50 million losses, so they're not going to be able to just sign some more attacking top quality players just to keep them on the bench.
Well that's the point I'm making, this summer isn't going to see City signing 3-4 new major players to bolster their attack, if they're going to sign anywhere, it will most likely be defence. They're at their peak right now, so the point I'm making, is that there isn't going to be significant 'improvement' being done in terms of signings in the summer, teams like United-Arsenal and Chelsea you'd put in the category of teams who will build in the summer to progress more, while for City it'll be a case of just making some tweaks, so what you see with City right now, is what you get, I don't see them going a level above it.
