Rumours going around that Charlie Adam has been lined up as a potential replacement from the Frenchmen. Poor Newcastle fans.
Okay, so we're relying on the Spuds and West Ham to do us a favour tomorrow night. Unfortunately I think West Ham will get a pasting at Chelsea, although the Spuds could hold City to a draw if they play well. You just never know with the spuds though, one week they can look half decent, then the next utter dross.
Wenger has confirmed it. Need Wilshere to get back fit and then somehow manage to stay in one piece for a while.
I think City will draw against Spurs and WHU will probably lose to Chavski. Would like for City and Chavski to draw.
Chelsea are going to smash West Ham out of sight. The Spurs game against City is more interesting. Like Piskie said, it depends on which Spurs side turn up. If BOTH City and Chelsea win tomorrow than that is a small dent on our title chances.
After these games though, we play Palace at home which should be three points. Then Chelsea play City the day after, so one or even both will drop points in that game. A draw from any of the two games tomorrow would be a real blessing for us.
The positive is we did not lose and this will be a jolt to the players. We play Palace next so we should go and try to smash them as Chavski and City will be playing and that is an opportunity to gain points back. We can beat Palace, Pool both times and Manure at home (just have to keep heads up). Even if we have to get ourselves knackered for Bayern or play a weaker side winning those next couple of league fixtures and advancing in the FA Cup is pivotal. After Bayern we have a small reprieve in Sunderland, Stoke and Swansea and we can analyze where we are before 5 must win/draw games.
Swansea game will be moved to mid-week should we progress further in the cup, the game will most likely be moved to right after we play Spurs. I'd actually prefer that, looks nicer on the eyes playing Spurs-Swansea-Chelsea-City rather than ****ing Spurs-Chelsea-City.
Out of our next 3 games, I expect 7 points at least, with wins against Palace-United, and a draw VS Liverpool. Seriously **** us if we fail to beat United, we're owed a win against those ****s, as fans the team and this club owe us a win over those red bastards.
7 Points seem like a safe bet but we've had Pool's number at Anfield in the past seasons and I know we can beat them again
i think we can beat liverpool. although they destroyed everton and pundits were raving about them, they only really have one weapon: counter attacks. i think all of their goals were the result of a quick run up field after everton possession was squandered. the more we keep the ball, the better, and if arteta sits and perscielny have a good game we should be fine.
Agreed, Kos is our key defender against their two main strikers. Lost time he was great and intercepted/tackled so well at Anfield. On the deck, Kos is one of the best defenders at the moment.
Looks like Jose's BS about Wenger moaning about a tight schedule was false please log in to view this image
So, how many on here actually think Spurs can get a result against City tonight? I think Sherwood is going to get exposed tonight and sadly, City are going to overtake us, IMO.
I think Spurs' only hope is to attack them and try to keep City on the back foot. We made the mistake of trying to sit back and contain them and we got ****ing mauled. Of course if you go too Gung-Ho then you risk getting taken apart anyway, but City are just too strong going forward to allow their attacking players any time on the ball. Being at home might help Spurs and I've got a sneaky feeling that this will be a high scoring draw.
Moany Maureen talks a lot of **** when he's had a tantrum. The media buy into his Bullshit and feed his over-inflated ego and it just encourages the ****.
