It's not even about how average Chelsea look, but more to the fact that we have dropped points in our last 2, so we need a win now to put us back on track. If we had beaten Everton, I'd have taken a draw VS Chelsea.
We defo need a win but we have to make sure we don't over commit and lose. I'd still take a draw but a win is what we should be getting.
We need to beat Chelsea, if we don't beat Chelsea, it would mean we haven't beaten a top 3 side since April of 2012 when we beat City 1-0. I know we beat Liverpool this season who were 2nd or 3rd when we beat them, but as of yet, they're not a top 3 side until they end there come end of season, we need a big win in the league against a very big team, yeah wins over Spurs and Liverpool are good, but Chelsea are bigger than them both, we've now lost to United, to City, so we have to finally win 1 game against an established top 3 side in Chelsea.
Chelsea will be incredibly tough to beat. Our recent record against is nothing to boast about either. Worrying times.
And that's why we have to beat them, standards have been raised, if we're going into a home game with a direct rival, with the recent results we've had, thinking a draw would be good, then sorry, that's not the standards or mentality of title contenders. I'm confident though that Wenger certainly doesn't have that mindset and will be going into the game VS Chelsea to win, nothing else.
Shouldn't make too much of a difference as I imagine we will play 2 pretty different sides in each game.
Can't believe we thought we were so close to signing him, with him even going public about it. I can't see anyone getting him for less than 75-80 million now with all the RM interest.
Agreed. Never going to happen for us. Somebody at Arsenal didn't do their homework properly when they thought the release clause was watertight. I think he'll end up at Real regardless of whether Liverpool finish in the top four or not.
