I said he is the most graceless loser, what's that got to do with admitting once in a blue moon that you've had a favourable decision? Not that that is true anyway. When we had 2 players sent off and you won by an offside goal, can't remember him saying you were lucky that day.
Who was it who said, "Show me a good loser and I'll show you a loser?" Edit - I googled it - Vince Lombardi.
You plastic racists should stick to your own board crying about rafa being crap then saying this season is an improvement and new records being set by this crap manager you talk about and dream of Jose coming back when he aint you self contradicting racist plastic little blue flag waving CM playing fans
So bitter about your record of "winning nothing" lot, hardly, you follow me from the manc board to hte arsenal board and when it gets too tough you refuse to answer straight questions, never mind hiding behind United stats cos everton are ****
No but you said Klanfield so I made my own little comment. Of course super troll BB was on the case, when you got no life it can be like that I guess, the weirdo follows me everywhere
So anyway . . Win our game at Fulham today and we're back into third. With the Spuds and Chavs having difficult games on sunday, this could be a good chance to stay there too !
A win today is vital. I have a feeling we will drop points though, I hope I am wrong. My theory is that we will draw with Fulham, lose to Man U and win our last three game against QPR, Wigan and Newcastle. That should give us 70 points. I think it will be enough to finish in the top four.
I think you'll lose to Man U and win the other 3. 72 points should suffice for 4th at least. Can't see the not being enough. All the pressure is on Spurs now, must win game. Chelsea can probably afford to draw given we have the other game in hand and really just need to better your result against United.
Pressure on Chelsea and Spurs tomorrow. We can now afford to sit back, relax and watch those two excellent games.
I am very much looking forward to the prospect that at least one of those teams could lose ground on us tomorrow
I'm going for a Sp*rs loss and Chelsea draw. Although Liverpool are horrible and could lose to Chelsea, as they have nothing to play for now.
Pressure was on us Wednesday, not really today unless Spurs pull a rabbit out the hat. Anything we get today is a bonus, even if we lose today we cannot slip out the top 4 and will still have a home game in hand. Having beaten Fulham midweek this is a game I feel we can approach without pressure and play with a sense of freedom. Given Arsenal play United next Sunday and Spurs take on Wigan (who are as good as down if they lose) I feel we can play slightly more with the shackles off. Swansea at home next week who have pretty much gone on holiday since the Carling Cup win. Anything at Anfield is a bonus. We'll get that 70 points we need to get top 4 Pressure is on Spurs because if they don't win today, if we match of better their result at Anfield they pretty much need to win at the Bridge (something they haven't done in 22 odd years) to get top 4.
Spin? How is the pressure on us? We can afford to lose whereas prior to this weekend you and Spurs couldn't.
Of course and a win today would all but seal top 4 for us but I have to dismiss the idea we are under pressure. Certainly not the same kind of pressure Spurs are under anyway IMO.
Well I think it will be both of us for top four, I just don't know in what order yet. It will depend on whether we can better your result against Man United I feel. Of course you will have the added advantage of playing them when they will almost certainly have won the title, but we will be playing them at home. I wouldn't discount Sp*rs yet, but I think they are the least likely to get top four now give recent results. Today will tell us a lot more.
I think Chelsea are definitely more confident than Arsenal and even more so than Spurs and they should be. They thrashed Fulham 3-0, and we could only scrap a narrow victory against 10 at Craven Cottage. You may say who cares, it is still 3 points and that is all that matters, but in reality it just shows that Chelsea have more weapons to finish 3rd. Our margine is much smaller and mentally we are more fragile. From that point of view a win against ManU would be much more than just 3 points. It would be such a boost - we could cruise to top 4 and probably even 3rd. I think we badly need at least a draw against them. you never know what will happen in Spurs games. I agree , there is not much pressure on Chelsea today - but it will change if we beat ManU and/or Chelsea lose/draw. They do not really want the 4th place. Anyway, great games today.
Because you have the "tougher run in", sure you can lose today but you wont be able lose another game or 2 down the line if Arsenal keep up this good form especially
Come on Man City! Earn your bloody wages you cash-humping ****s. Nasri, you're a lesbian pussy frog, but now's the time to drop those bags of money and start playing football. Clichy, thank **** you left, you're ****, but it's time to pretend you're good.
