That was the qualifying round. There was only a semi-final and final in the proper tournament, that took place in Yugoslavia. A strange format. But, Wales did not make the finals of that tournament. But they did get close though.

Joking apart,i thought even the semis were played on a home and away basis back then.
After the Yugoslavs cheated us out of the semis i lost interest

for me anyway just to make sure my clubs 6 english players and a certain dutch man dont get injured, if any of the others pick up an injury it wont be as bad for us fans as they are squad players

 

Your whole first 11 could get injured and it wouldnt affect anything
