I've said all along they are my favourites. 1st/2nd. Depends on what Chelsea do in the market, we are 2 players short.

Spurs 5-1 down against Monaco after 70 mins.

Spurs have a good XI but the squad depth is horrifically poor. They really need to avoid key injuries and keep Bale to have a good crack at top 4.

  3. We had no CBs on the park, today. It makes the sale of Caulker all the more baffling.

Indeed, the only recognised CBs we have are Kaboul, Vertonghen, and Dawson, and all three are injured ffs!

If we go into the start of this season with the likes of Livermore and Fryers at CB, we are going to be fighting a relegation battle, come Christmas.

Hence the point squad depth is poor. You need reinforcements

    Lets resurrect this.

Arsenal look shaky - suffering from an injury and squad crisis. The team lacks leaders, and is not a challenging squad in my eyes. The ease at which they fall apart under pressure is worrying. Tough times for the Goons. However, not worth writing off. It's just one game. They had the best form in the league at the end of last season - maybe they can get back to that with some signings?

Manchester United - Not convinced defensively by them, but RVP is just a class apart. He can win them the league again, despite the weaker squad than City and Chelsea. This is a squad build for winning the league, and provided RVP doesn't get injured, they could do it again.

Swansea were very good by the way, just poor in that final third.

An RVP injury for more than 3-4 games will seriously de-rail Utds season. But I've said many times, I will never write them off.
Arsenal are screwed for me, been saying for weeks. They always say the same thing "people have been saying we will drop out the top 4 for year blah blah!".
    Those people were idiots.
The difference this time is that I AM saying it, and i'm no idiot.

well 2 seasons ago , we didn't had RVP, and despite a mammoth amount of injuries, we finished equal points to city and tbh should had win it when we were 7 points ahead .. so you shouldn't write us off even if RVP is injured
anyway any team will struggle without their best players, City looked not the same without Kopmany or Silva or Yaya ..

Guess the reality is those pre season results have no reflect on league games.. All those that predicted a Swansea win must be gutted, wishful thinking is a bad thing and will always end up in disappointment:emoticon-0111-blush

    <doh> its one game Devil.
And no pre-season has no reflect on the league.
I wish people, all people, who gloated over matchday 1 football results were beheaded and their heads put on spikes outside the Tower of London.
    Call it spastication culling.
There would be a lot of Spurs fans heads on spikes about now.

True but day's army was two years younger then.

Do you think Evra vidic rio carrick Giggs and Rvp can play all season?

Good point. Uniteds line up averaged 29 years old today.
