Should also be sent off before that chance. There was absolutely no difference between that challenge and sidwells yesterday against arsenal.

I didn't see it, but many are saying it could easily have been a red.

If sidwell was a red yesterday this was definitely a red. But arsenal seem to be getting all the luck right now.

Spineless team, 10/11 we were 15 points off United and brought the gap down to 3 by the time we played them. Why? Because we had players with guts. Hart, Kompany, Yaya Toure & Dzeko aren't fit to lick the boots of Cech, JT, Lampard and Drogba in their prime. Plus they have a manager that doesn't want to play to their strengths.

Gotta say, goons giving RVP a guard of honour next week will be priceless

The only good thing is United will have the title which means they can take the shackles off and that should lead to an open game/counter attacking game which suits us down to a tee. Spurs is the bigger game though obviously.

If we beat Liverpool I'm not worried, but we need a result at Anfield or Old Trafford just to be safe

Horrible challenge but to be fair BAE was a bit fortunate, Mason had a shocking game I thought.

Oscar out wide doesn't fill me with confidence either. JT should be starting too. Can't see anything but a loss.

Great footballers but not great players (not yet anyway). It's the kind of game where if we go 1-0 down, Liverpool could win at a canter but if we go 1-0 up we could win it fairly easily.

Liverpool offered nothing in the reverse fixture until JT went off. Luiz's indiscipline and Suarez's trickery is a red card waiting to happen.
