I don't think anyone could disagree with the claim that LVG's United are boring. It's turgid stuff at the minute.

There's long ball and there's long ball though. The greatest long ball launcher I've ever seen was Glenn Hoddle, used to hit huge long passes straight to the feet of our forwards (who'd then hoof it into the stands, but that's a different matter).

KDB closer to City. This could be our Pogba moment :emoticon-0101-sadsm:emoticon-0101-sadsm

Pogba went on a free and now worth 60 million plus.

We made some decent profit on KDB. Not quite the same.

Not at all. De Bruyne, in the little game time he was given showed absolutely nothing. He then apparently whinged that he wasn't playing every game and asked to leave where we were then able to double our money and make a profit without him actually doing anything for us.

If anybody thinks this is comparable to Pogba they need their head testing.

You keep telling yourself that when he's tearing it up for City.

I'm sure you won't care as you made a profit on him!

I'll care just as much as I would if a player who didn't play for us was tearing it up. He wanted out and City aren't exactly getting him from the bargain bucket.

I agree with the price City paying & money we made on him.

But Poga didn't join direct rivals. I hope not, but KDB could be the difference.

City might be light weight in the middle. They have yaya & 2 Fernandos.
All their mid fielders are wide men & Silva. KDB could most likely be understudy to Silva.
Not sure whether he will move Silva.

After one good season he isn't worth anything near the 54m they're paying for him. If anything, signing him pushes Silva wide left again, and he's twice the player down the middle so I'm not sure it even improves their XI.

I assume he's bulked up a bit now? He was far too lightweight when we had him which was the main reason he didn't make it IMO. Same as Cuadrado.

    Agreed. Square is Straw.
Rambo was able to make it due to his insane engine.

They have a vacancy wide right, that's where he would play, surely. Navas is cack, Sterling wide left and Silva centre ahead of Toure and one of the Fernando brothers.

Just wondered if anything had been mentioned on other Chelsea sites. Everyone else seemed quite friendly with him, just Cesc and Diego blanked him.

I wouldn't think it would be anything to do with him wanting to leave the PL.
Maybe it is something to do with DDG action's whilst on International duty, internal stuff.
