    Mark Halsey saying that it should have been a free kick to Spurs then because the Chelsea player took man and ball in his tackle.

    Is that what refs are being told to do now? It used to be a good tackle if you win the ball and take the man out with you (not to cause injury but just to rattle them up etc). I hope that's not the case and it's just cause Halsey is a crap ref instead.

    Looks very good player. Could be a bargain at £8mil. Surprised we didn't even put in a bid. He's very similar to Coutinho and that may have been the reason why we didn't but you can never have too many good players and apart from Coutinho/Suarez we lack any other sort of creative playmaker.

    I'd have had him before Aspas, Alberto or Ilori, not that I'm witing any of those players off, they all cost at least two thirds of what Eriksen went for!
