Hangeland has been released by Fulham with a year till left on his contract. Strange one that.. always thought he was a decent player and a couple of years ago could have moved to a bigger club.

Only guess is his wages are too high for Fulham to keep him after being relegated. Be good signing for a lower Prem club though. Someone like United could do with his experience at the back <ok>

Hazard has changed his shirt number from 17 to 10 hinting he'll still be at Chelsea next year.

Thing with this is, it means a load of kids out there will have the wrong number on their shirts and will all be getting their parents to get them new ones. Don't think players should be doing this, or if they do, the club should allow people to get refunds or discounts on new shirts with the new numbers etc.

Senile Bobby Charlton must think its still Euro 2004, he reckons Rooney is the only "class" player in the England squad and should choose which position he plays.

As a so called ambassador of the English gamer could have chosen his words better.

we on about the player or kids here lol.

i reckon if players want to do this fine, but they should buy everyone who has the wrong number on their shirt a replacement.

the only issue i would have is if its done before or after thier new kit is out....i don't know if thats the case.

If their new kits comes after the switch its ok... the old number and old kit are season correct after all.

plus they are all <whistle> plastics so will not notice the number change

It was bad enough with just the pink shirts - that we had in 2011

It went down like a lead balloon and I think we only wore it a handful of times, moving to the 3rd kit whenever possible.

in fairness everton did have some shockers of kits.

what was evertons "away" kit back in the 60/70s then.

LFC had white and black then yellow annd then in the 80s everyone went nuts... at least right now some sense is in play... in places..

do real think this kit will sell well outside of the gay community?

I mean ok i can see someone in say everton appointing some fashionista who said pink is a new trend but someone at some point has to show sense and knowledge of the customer base and say nah.... appeal to the masses.

  16. As kits go, it does the job as they certainly stand out. Just not great from a commercial perspective.

Surprised Torres wasn't part of the deal. A Madrid to spend some of the money on him?
