fa cup hilarity... arsneal really have made it hard for themselves in this comp since everton basically threw in the towel in the QF.

Arsenal 2-2.. pens? lottery. hull threw it away form 2-0 but fair play to arsenal for battling too.

Fantastic final. It is a shame Hull couldn't hold on but it was a great performance all round.

Cant think of the last FA cup final that was so good to watch, last year was a great result but not much of a spectacle,

    Shame for Hull.

Just think, one stonewall penalty that wasn't given and that could easily have been us after the nice easy run Arsenal had to the final. They only travelled 14 miles in their FA Cup run as well, and those 14 miles were to Wembley. Home draw in every round <laugh>

Still, well done Arsenal. Fought back well but if it was a team a bit better than Hull, after going 2-0 up they would have seen that game out (unless it was us and WE'd probably have gone on to win 6-4). Instead Hull seemed to get 2-0 up then not know what to do and decided to try and hold on for so long.

Why don't we scrap allowing 600+ clubs the opportunity of entering and just start it at the semi finals with Spurs, Chelsea, Everton, Arsenal, Man U and Man C drawing lots to enter. Muppet!

    I like this quote <laugh>

But I must say that's not my view, I just found it amusing. Well done Arsenal for winning a trophy, about time - congratulations <applause>

Well done to Arsenal. It matters not how you win a final, it's the winning that counts.

What does amuse me is Wenger's claim that this win will act as a catalyst for Arsenal. What the final did show was the desperate need for that side to undergo serious regeneration. As it stands they are just not good enough. If he feels that the confidence gained from winning the cup is sufficient then the 4th place cup may well be beyond them next season.

    welllll.....

good pair of CBs, ramsey and ozil there... option wide... they really need two forwards and once again... a holding player seeing they played best with flamini in so if wenger doesn't fnacy it... well he'd between show sense

if arsneal get forward options genuinely form somewhere they can kick on... same as us if we get x and y we can...

I fully expect wenger to buy 4 attacking midfielders to complement their 4 attacking midfielders....

Arsenal's new kit is with Puma, so 2 Nike logos would be pretty stupid, let alone the FA Cup final logo for every match <ok>

It is, but it's a limited edition shirt that marks the end of their 20 year association with Nike. (and their 9 year wait for a pot)

Hoping for an Athletico double this year, as they've been great to watch. <ok>
