It didn't happen, so laugh away, as City piss on the last dying embers of your title challenge <ok>

LOL... what losers... and as it turned out- they cheered on their team to lose for no reason now!

    <laugh>

Threw away their chance at Champions League for no reason... what losers! <laugh>

Nah the embers keep burning after this game, ready for Carroll and Downing to reignite them on Sunday <whistle>

It didn't happen and Arsenal won on Sunday anyway so our result was irrelevant

Of course they won... Arsenal no longer had any pressure... if you lot hadn't cheered on City there would have been more pressure on Arsenal and they probably would have lost.

You could have been in Europe!

I fancy the Spammers to give City a game on Sunday tbh, they'll certainly be a much bigger challenge than this awful Villa side have been tonight

    Edit: with pleasure

    Congratulations City.<applause>

From our point of view we've exceeded our expectations, great displays, great goals, great attacking football, already in the CL groupstage.

Cheers FSG, Brendan and the players.<ok>

Switching back to serious mode from silly mode:

Yes, I think you're right- West Ham are more of a threat than Villa- especially with all those big bodies in the penalty box... but City have breathing room now. They know they don't have to win. Mentally, Sunday becomes a much easier game for City now.

    Villa falling apart <doh>

To be fair, when City can bring on Negredo & Jovetic (while still having Aguero out injured) kind of shows why they are champions <laugh>

Tbf until this season you both had to look a pretty similar amount of time back. 2009 wasnt reallyba challenge and that 2nd place in the early 2000s doeant count.

Almost like twins everton and liverpool

Who was claiming Toure is overrated?

Sorry, but the guy is the best central midfielder in the league. For sheer pace, power, skill and finishing, one of the best in the World. Yeah he may not be the best defensively, but stick a proper DM behind him and let him go and terrorise the opposition defence.

Admittedly, was **** defending from Villa but still a very good goal.
