    You love a good talk about a #flattrackbully <ok>

The 1 goal was a set-piece against City when 4 goals down and 3 minutes left #onlyplayingforthebonus #parttime

#moyesout tweets are quite funny tonight <ok>

Seems the 4-0 win at Newcastle didn't show Man Utd had turned the corner after all <whistle>

In 51 games Moyes has had 51 different starting XIs

**** me most managers couldn't manage that if they tried

    Extraordinary talent <ok>

Seems like Fergie's ability to choose a replacement is as **** as his ability to leave a legacy.
    Clough, no legacy
    Fergie, no legacy
    Sir Bob, massive legacy.

No question who this countries greatest manager ever was.

I also love that the season his book came out criticising Gerrard and Henderson, they have both gone on to have phenomenal seasons.

When Wenger goes? It won't be as precipitous... but Arsenal won't be falling from as high a starting point either. Obviously when Liverpool dropped out of the big 4- City stepped in.

But since Liverpool has been out of the top 4, Arsenal has looked most years the sick man of the upper group.

Liverpool's back now, and United dropped out... so it should be even, but Arsenal are still in a sticky place and looking the sick man of the top 4.

If United find their feet next season- and Spurs don't fail catastrophically with that big expensive squad of theirs again, Arsenal are in for a torrid time getting into Champions League.

We need to avoid the mistakes Liverpool made. Dalglish let a side age and souness was given too much time. The following managers were not good enough. Not elite, not winners.

Fergie left some holes and some aging players. That was his mistake. He also chose his successor. Another mistake.

Moyes needs to go and whatever it takes to snap up one of the worlds best managers. No half measures, no sentiment.

We can go one of two ways. Like United and Liverpool before us, a pathetic fall from grace that lasts as long as our period on top or we can look at Madrid, Bayern, Barcelona etc... and do what they do, remain at the top permanently ( competing not winning everything ) by being ready to make those tough calls when a change is needed.

Moyes only needs to go if you get a quality replacement.

I still think he IS the safe continuation for next season. His record with Everton suggests he can challenge for 4th with a smaller team. He's had a torrid time in a hangover year. I bet he'll finish 4th if given the chance next year.

Probably never win the title, but unless you have the RIGHT manager ready to take over- he's safer then gambling with someone who isn't good enough.

  20. That would be a change in structure for you guys. Your club (like ours) is seen as a family. Families are loyal and stick together. Start chopping / changing and the aura changes.

New managers bring new staff, players, systems, methods etc too. It eliminates consistency.
