Did we ever expect Sunderland to do anything other than lose?

Best they can do is wind a few City players up and force them to commit bad fouls and get a few red cards.

Reds for Kompany, Fernandinho & Aguero would be nice please <ok>

Let's hope it's not a cricket score as GD could really come into play.

Also, are either of the games on tv tonight?

A few injuries and fire themselves up for the chav game on the weekend and injure a few of them is the best we can hope for.

    Palace 1-0 up against Everton!

Pressure getting to them? Good for us I guess, quicker Palace get safe, less chance of them being totally fired up and desperate for the points.

Puncheon seems t be hitting some good form for Palace. Think that's 4 or 5 goals he's got in last 6 or 7 games?

I feel Palace could take points off us and city, safe or not. I would rather Everton have fight in them to get something against city.

Zabaleta trips Borini and Borini is booked

Man City still haven't had a single decision against them at The Etihad <doh>

Zabaleta wastes 4 and a half minutes after getting a knock

Let's see how much of it is added on...

It was already added on in the Liverpool game, 5 minutes for nothing if you recall.

Aguero dives (Ramires style) in the box and asks for a penalty. No booking.

    From BBC:

    20:45:
    Everton 0-1 Crystal Palace

Brendan Rodgers is back in his seat. Almost game time at Goodison.

At least Rodgers is there watching a palace side dominating the bitters, hopefully he is learning a lot.

Everton losing isn't so bad. Palace reach 40 points, virtually safety. Leaves Everton trailing Arse by 1 point, meaning they really need results in the remaining games, namely against City.

Sunderland losing is the bigger disappointment, Really hope City drop points at some point in order to remove some of the pressure.

I prefer Palace to get safe with points off Man City than Everton

Everton losing today is a blow and maybe they also roll over for City

    Palace 2-0

Pressure got to Everton. Arsenal will scrape champions league yet again.
On the plus side, beat Norwich and we are guaranteed group stage champions league!!
